Ancient Clay Tablets Verify Extreme Antiquity of Book of Enoch

Ancient Clay Tablets Verify
Extreme Antiquity of Book of Enoch
By

The Babylonian Flood Story dating to the time of Abraham and found on clay tablets:

There was Anu, lord of firmament, their father, and warrior Enlil
their counselor, Ninurta the helper, and Ennugi watcher over
canals; and with them also was Ea. In those days the world teemed,
the people multiplied, the world bellowed like a wild bull, and the
great god was aroused by the clamor. Enlil heard the clamor and
he said to the gods in council, “The uproar of mankind is
intolerable and sleep is no longer possible by reason of the
babel.” So the gods in their hearts were moved to let loose the
deluge; but my lord Ea warned me in a dream… build a boat. These
are the measurements of the barque… then take up into the boat the
seed of all living creatures… For six days and six nights the
winds blew, torrent and tempest and flood overwhelmed the world…
on the mountain of Nasir the boat held fast… I loosed a dove and
let her go. She flew away but finding no resting place she
returned. Then I loosed a swallow, and she flew away but finding no
resting place she returned. I loosed a raven, she saw that the
waters had returned, she ate, she flew around, she cawed, and she
did not come back… I made made a sacrifice…

Scholars have long recognized many parallels between this Flood Story and the account in Genesis:

1. In both accounts an individual is warned to build an ark/boat.

2. In both accounts it is mentioned that man had multiplied on the earth.

3. In both accounts the individual is told the dimensions to build the ark/boat.

4. Both accounts have the formula that the rain lasted “____ days and ____ nights”.

5. Both accounts have the ark/boat coming to rest on a mountain.

6. Both accounts have birds sent out to find dry land.

7. Both accounts have the ark/boat builder making a sacrifice after exiting his vessel.

This plainly tells us that the Babylonian Flood Story is the Babylonian twisting of the same flood story revealed in Genesis.

There are also many important parallels that have long gone unnoticed between the flood account on these ancient tablets and the flood account in the Book of Enoch which are not found in Genesis.

First of all in the Genesis account the flood occurs because:

“Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth…”
(Gen. 6:5)

But in the Babylonian story the flood occurs because:

“Enlil heard the clamour and he said to the gods in council, ‘The
uproar of mankind is intolerable and sleep is no longer possible by
reason of the babel.'”

This is a clear distinction between the two stories. Now in the Book of Enoch the flood occurs because:

“…part of mankind was perishing from the earth,
they cried and their cry went up to heaven.”
(1En. 8:4).

In both the Babylonian and Enochian accounts a cry from men on earth is heard in the heavens, but this element is absent form the Genesis account.

In the Babylonian account four false gods (Anu, Enlil, Ninurta and Ennugi) who have Ea (Ya/Yah?) with them hear the “clamor” from mankind, Enlil proposes the idea of a flood and gets agreement, but Ea sympathizes with man and warns Utnapishtim (the Babylonian “Noah”) to build a boat.

In the Enochian account four angels (Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel and Michael) hear the cry of man and then consult with Yahweh who proposes the flood and send Uriel to Noah to warn him to build an ark (1Enoch 9 & 10)

Clearly the Enochian account rather than the Genesis account is the source of this portion of the Babylonian story.

Moreover the Babylonian flood story is part of a much longer work called “The Epic of Gilgimesh” which records the exploits of its hero Gilgimesh in his failed search for eternal life.

Now a previously lost supplement to the Book of Enoch found in only fragmentary form among the Dead Sea Scrolls (called the “Book of Giants”) gives the names of some of the giants born to the Fallen angels, among them is a giant named “Gilgamesh”.

The Epic of Gilgamesh describes Gilgamesh as part man, part god:

“When the gods created Gilgamesh they gave him a perfect body.
Shamash the glorious sun endowed him with beauty, Adad the god of
the storm endowed him with courage, the great gods made his beauty
perfect, surpassing all others. Two thirds they made him god and
one third man.”

In the Book of Enoch one of the fallen angels who fathers the giants is Shimsh’el (Sun of El).

In the Epic of Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh has a companion known as “Enkidu, the wild man” while one of the Enochian fragments mentioning Gilgamesh has an unknown speaker [Enkidu?] say “the wild man they call [me]”.

These amazing connections between the Book of Enoch and the clay tablets of the Epic of  Gilgamesh point to the great antiquity of the Book of Enoch. The material of this book stretches back long before the first century and provided some of the material that served as the basis for the pagan distortions of the Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh. Many scholars regard the Epic of Gilgamesh as the world’s oldest book.  Yet we today have restored to us a book that is much older still, and was the source for the pagan distortions found in these ancient tablets!

The Isles Shall Wait for His Torah: How the Monks Monkeyed with the Text

The Isles Shall Wait for His Torah:
How the Monks Monkeyed with the Text
By
James Scott Trimm

In the original Hebrew of the Goodnews according the Matthew (as we have it in the HRV from the DuTillet and Munster texts) we read:

15 But when Yeshua knew, He withdrew from there: and many multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all,
16 And commanded them that they should not make Him known,
17 In order that it might be established which was spoken by Yesha’yahu the prophet, who said,

18 Behold My servant, whom I uphold;
My chosen, in whom My nefesh delights.
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will make righteousness to go out to the Goyim.
19 He will not cry, nor lift up,
nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
20 A bruised reed will He not break,
and the dimly burning wick will He not quench.
He will make the right go out according to the truth;
21 He will not fail nor be discouraged.
Until He has set right in the earth,
and the isles shall wait for His Torah.
(Matthew 12:15-21 HRV)

Verses 18-21 are quoting the Book of Isaiah 42 1-4 which is a Messianic prophecy.  Of course we are all familiar with the suffering servant portion of Isaiah 53 however there are actually four Servant portions in Isaiah (Is. 42:1-9;  49:1-12; 50:4-11 & Is. 52:7-53:12).  The Targum to this passage clearly identifies this as a prophecy of Messiah and the MEMERA (Word):

1 Behold, my servant, the Messiah, whom I bring,
my chosen in whom one delights:
as for my Word [MEMRA], I will put my Holy Spirit upon Him;
He shall reveal my judgment unto the nations.
2 He shall not cry aloud, nor raise a clamor,
and He shall not lift up His voice in the street.
3 The meek who are like a bruised reed He shall not break,
and the poor who are as a glimmering wick with Him, He will not quench:
He shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not faint nor be weary,
till He have established judgment in the earth;
and the isles shall wait for His Torah.
(Targum Jonathan to Isaiah 42:1-4)

However the Greek version of Matthew reads quite differently in Matthew 12:21, as we read in the KJV:

15  But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16  And charged them that they should not make him known:
17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18  Behold my servant, whom I have chosen;
my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased:
I will put my spirit upon him,
and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19  He shall not strive, nor cry;
neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20  A bruised reed shall he not break,
and smoking flax shall he not quench,
till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21  And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
(Matthew 12:15-21 KJV)

Both Hebrew and Greek Matthew follow the Masoretic Text of Isaiah 42:1-3 but Greek Matthew replaced Isaiah 42:4 with just one phrase: “And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.”

This is not because Greek Matthew follows the Greek Septuagint in these verses, because Isaiah 42:1-3 read very differently in the Greek LXX:

1 Jacob is my servant, I will help him:
Israel is my chosen, my soul has accepted him;
I have put my Spirit upon him;
he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up [his voice],
nor shall his voice be heard without.
3 A bruised reed shall he not break,
and smoking flax shall he not quench;
but he shall bring forth judgment to truth.
4 He shall shine out, and shall not be discouraged,
until he have set judgment on the earth:
and in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
(Isaiah 42:1-4 LXX)

Suddenly in verse 4 Greek Matthew abandons the wording of the Masoretic Text of Isaiah and replaces verse 4 with the phrase “And in his name shall the Gentiles trust” extracted from the Greek Septuagint.

Two things about this replacement are very suspicious:

1. Greek Matthew does not follow the very different reading of the Greek Septuagint of Isaiah 42:1-3, which actually identifies the servant as “Jacob” or “Israel” rather than the Messiah as it is understood in the Targum and in Matthew.  Instead it follows the Masoretic Text in these three verses and switches suddenly to the Septuagint in verse 4!

2. Not all of verse 4 is transplanted from the Septuagint, but instead only one phrase from it awkwardly replaces an entire verse and the first two phrases of the verse are omitted entirely.

Clearly a later hand altered Matthew 12:21 as it appears in the Greek (and Aramaic) of Matthew 12:21 and removed the reference to Torah from the verse!

The Hebrew of Isaiah 42:1-9 paints  picture of the nations waiting for the Torah, brought to them as a light, through the Messiah!  But the early Gentile Christian Church could not stand for a passage that said that Yeshua was bringing the message of Torah to the nations!  So the monks had to monkey with the text and make this very clumsy change to the Scripture!

The true reading is fortunately preserved for us by the original Hebrew text of Matthew which was preserved among the Jews (in the DuTillet and Munster texts):

15 But when Yeshua knew, He withdrew from there: and many multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all,
16 And commanded them that they should not make Him known,
17 In order that it might be established which was spoken by Yesha’yahu the prophet, who said,

18 Behold My servant, whom I uphold;
My chosen, in whom My nefesh delights.
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will make righteousness to go out to the Goyim.
19 He will not cry, nor lift up,
nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
20 A bruised reed will He not break,
and the dimly burning wick will He not quench.
He will make the right go out according to the truth;
21 He will not fail nor be discouraged.
Until He has set right in the earth,
and the isles shall wait for His Torah.
(Matthew 12:15-21 HRV)

These verses are telling us that the Messiah was fulfilling prophecy by teaching Torah!  And this truth has been removed from this verse by Greek Matthew but has been preserved to us in the original Hebrew of Matthew!

We must raise at least $150 by the end of the day today (9/5/24), or our account will go into the negative tonight and cause a chain reaction of returned items and fees! Plus my wife has a prescription which is over $400 that I need to pick up for her (that is our cost after insurance).

A Beautiful Messianic Prophecy in The Wisdom of Solomon

It has been said that there are over three hundred Messianic prophecies in the Tanak. This article is, however, about an important Messianic prophecy you may never have heard of, found in the Wisdom of Solomon, a book found among those known as the Apocrypha. These are books which are considered canonical by all pre-Protestant Christian churches. They are cited by authors of the so-called “New Testament” frequently, and quoted by the so-called “Church Fathers” right along side the others.  (For more information see The Clear Truth about the Apocrypha)

Wisdom of Solomon claims to be a book written by Solomon (Wisdom 9:7-8). Even skeptics date the book in the first or second century BCE. Over a hundred years before the life of Yeshua.

According to Melito in the second century CE, the Wisdom of Solomon was then considered canonical by both Jews and Christians. Ramban (Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman) (1194-1270 C.E.) wrote one of the most authoritative Torah commentaries in Rabbinic Judaism.  In his Introduction to his Commentary to the Torah Ramban quotes from an Aramaic version of the Wisdom of Solomon and takes these quotes as the authentic words of Solomon:

King Solomon, peace be upon him, whom G-d had given wisdom and knowledge, derived it all from the Torah, and from it he studied until he knew the secret of all things created, even of the forces and characteristics of plants, so that he wrote about them even a Book of Medicine, as it is written, And he spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall (1Kings 5:13)

Now I have seen the Aramaic translation of the book called The Great Wisdom of Solomon, and in it is written: “There is nothing new in the birth of a king or ruler; there is one entrance for all people into the world, and one exit alike. Therefore I have prayed, and the spirit of wisdom was given to me, and I have called out and the spirit of knowledge came to me; I chose it above scepter and throne.” (Wisdom 7:3-8) And it is further said there: “It is G-d alone Who gives knowledge that contains no falsehood, [enabling one] to know how the world arose, the composition of the constellations, the beginning, the end and middle of the times, the angles of the ends of the constellations, and how the seasons are produced by the movement of heavens and the fixed positions of the stars, the benign nature of cattle and the fierceness of beasts, the power of the wind and the thoughts of man, the relationship of trees and the forces of roots; everything hidden and everything revealed I know.” (Wisdom 7:17-21)  All this Solomon knew from the Torah, and he found everything in it – in its simple meanings, in the subtleties of its expressions and its letters and its strokes, as I have mentioned.
(Ramban; The Introduction to the Commentary on the Torah)

Ramban had studied the Aramaic (Peshitta?) version of the Wisdom of Solomon and was convinced that it recorded the actual words of Solomon!  There is much for us to learn from this very important book.

Not only was the Wisdom of Solomon originally written in Hebrew but the original Hebrew survived until at least 1611. The original 1611 edition of the King James Version has a marginal note to the word “pricked” in Wisdom of Solomon 16:11 which says “Hebr. stung.”

Facsimile of original 1611 KJV marginal note to Wisdom of Solomon 16:11

Now the Greek of Wisdom 16:11 has enekentronto “they were pricked” (KJV, Brenton) or “they were bitten” (RSV, NEB) (the NAB has “they were stung”). Now this word can be translated “stung” (as in the NAB) but it can also be translated “pricked” as the KJV translators chose to translate in the main text. The footnote indicates that that original Hebrew does in fact have a word meaning “sting” and not “prick” here. The KJV footnote would indicate that the original Hebrew word was PARASH (Strong’s 6567) the only Hebrew word for “sting” (as we see it in Prov. 23:32).

The Aramaic Peshitta translator must have misread PARASH (Strong’s 6567) “sting” as PARASH (Strong’s 6566) “to break in pieces”. The Aramaic Peshitta translator thus wrongly translated PATZAIT “split, opened”.

The Aramaic has mistranslated the original Hebrew word, and therefore could not have been translated from the Greek. This means that our Aramaic Peshitta version is an Aramaic translation made directly from the Hebrew. Since these are cognate languages with much vocabulary and grammar in common, the Aramaic translation gives us a much better witness as to the original Hebrew than does the Greek. And were it not for this one marginal note made by the original 1611 KJV translators, we would not have this proof that the Aramaic was translated directly from the Hebrew rather than from the Greek.

Conversely the mistranslation of this word in the Aramaic Peshitta proves the veracity of the KJV marginal note.

Now there is an amazing Messianic Prophecy found in The Wisdom of Solomon 2:12-22 which reads as follows:

12: Therefore let us trouble the Righteous One; because he is not pleasant to us, and
he stands up against our doings: and he reviles us for our transgression of the
Torah, and records against us the trespasses of our audacity.
13: He professes that the knowledge of Elohim is his: and he says concerning himself
“I am the Son of Elohim”
14: He is a rebuker of our thoughts.
15: He is heavy upon us even to behold: because his way of life is not like others,
his ways are different.
16: We are esteemed by him as impure: he abstained from our ways like from impurity: he blesses the ways and the end of the righteous, and he boasts that Elohim is his father.
17: Let us see if his words are true: and let us test him by his departure.
18: For if the Righteous One is the Son of Elohim, he will receive him, and deliver
him from the hand of those who rise up against him.
19: With despitefulness and with torment let us examine him, that we may know the
concern of his humility, and be harmful to him.
20: To a shameful death let us condemn him: we shall be upon him and shall question his words.
21: These insipid things they did think, and were deceived: because their own
wickedness has blinded them.
22: And they did not know the mysteries of Elohim, neither hoped they for the reward of the pure, and they did not discern an old soul without blemish.
(Wisdom of Solomon 2:12-22 – from my ongoing work on the HRV Apocrypha- Translated from the Peshitta Aramaic)

Now lets look at this prophecy in detail. We begin with:

12: Therefore let us trouble the Righteous One; because he is not pleasant to us, and
he stands up against our doings: and he reviles us for our transgression of the
Torah, and records against us the trespasses of our audacity.
(Wisdom 2:12 HRV)

These verses gives a remarkable prophecy of the way Yeshua stood up against Torah transgression:

1 Then came near to Him scribes and P’rushim from Yerushalayim, saying,
2 Why do your talmidim transgress the decrees of the elders? For they clean not their
hands when they eat bread.
3 But He answered them and said: And why do you transgress the commandments of
Elohim–by means of your decrees?
(Matt. 15:1-3 HRV)

The Prophecy continues:

13: He professes that the knowledge of Elohim is his: and he says concerning himself
“I am the Son of Elohim”
(Wisdom 2:13 HRV)

In fact both Matthew and Yochanan (John) quote Yeshua as angering many by saying “I am the Son of Elohim/Eloah”:

41 And likewise, the Chief Cohenim reviled Him, with the scribes and elders,
42 Saying, He saved others, but Himself He cannot save. If He is the king of Yisrael, let Him now come down from this gallows, and we will believe in Him.
43 He believed in Elohim, let Him deliver Him now, if He delight [in Him]: for He
said, I am the Son of Elohim.
44 And so likewise the robbers, which were crucified with Him, reproached Him.
(Mt. 27:41-44 HRV)

36 To Him whom the Father sanctified and sent to the world, do you say, You
blaspheme … because I told you that I am the Son of Eloah?
37 Though I do the works of My Father, you do not believe Me.
38 But if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works: that you might know
and believe that My Father is in Me, and I am in My Father.
39 And they wanted to seize Him again, but He escaped from their hands.
(Jn. 10:36-39 HRV)

The prophecy of Wisdom of Solomon continues:

14: He is a rebuker of our thoughts.
(Wisdom 1:14 HRV)

This was also fulfilled by Yeshua as we read in Matthew:

4 And when Yeshua perceived their thoughts, He said: Why think you evil in your hearts?
(Mt. 9:4 HRV)

The Wisdom of Solomon continues:

15: He is heavy upon us even to behold: because his way of life is not like others,
his ways are different.
16: We are esteemed by him as impure: he abstained from our ways like from impurity: he blesses the ways and the end of the righteous, and he boasts that Elohim is his] father.
17: Let us see if his words are true: and let us test him by his departure.
(Wisdom 2:15-17 HRV)

This actually recalls an account in the Torah concerning the life of Joseph. When his brothers cast Joseph into the pit we read:

20 Come now therefore and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits. And we
will say, An evil beast has devoured him. And we shall see what will become of his
dreams.
(Gen. 37:20 HRV)

There is great Messianic significance to this account. Joseph’s life was a type of the first coming of Messiah which parallels the Rabbinical Messiah ben Yoseph. The Suffering Messiah is called Messiah ben Yoseph because his brothers were redeemed by his suffering.

Like Joseph the Patriarch, Yeshua was betrayed by his own for a few pieces of silver (Gen. 37:28) he was cast into “the pit” (death) and raised back up so that he might redeem his brothers, Like Joseph, Yeshua’s teaching and revelation angered his brothers, who sought to put his claims to the test by casting him into the pit (of death).

The Wisdom of Solomon continues:

18: For if the Righteous One is the Son of Elohim, he will receive him, and deliver
him from the hand of those who rise up against him.
(Wisdom 2:18 HRV)

This strongly parallels a Messianic prophecy found in Psalm 22:

9 (22:8) Let him commit himself unto YHWH; let Him rescue him; let Him deliver him: seeing He delights in him.
(Ps. 22:9 (8) HRV)

And both were fulfilled by Yeshua as we read in Matthew and in Yochanan (John):

43 He believed in Elohim, let Him deliver Him now, if He delight [in Him]: for He
said, I am the Son of Elohim.
(Mt. 27:43 HRV)

18 And because of this, the Judeans all the more sought to kill Him; not only because He had loosed the Sabbath, but also because He had spoken about Eloah–that He was His Father, and made His nefesh equal with Eloah.
(Jn. 5:18 HRV)

The prophecy of Wisdom of Solomon continues:

19: With despitefulness and with torment let us examine him, that we may know the
concern of his humility, and be harmful to him.
20: To a shameful death let us condemn him: we shall be upon him and shall question his words.
21: These insipid things they did think, and were deceived: because their own
wickedness has blinded them.
22: And they did not know the mysteries of Elohim, neither hoped they for the reward of the pure, and they did not discern an old soul without blemish.
(Wisdom 2:19-22 HRV)

This was also fulfilled by Yeshua as Ya’akov wrote:

6 You have condemned and killed the just, and he did not stand against you.
(Ya’akov (James) 5:6 HRV)

The Messianic Prophecy of Wisdom of Solomon 2:12-22 fits well right along side of prophecies like Ps. 22 and Isaiah 53 as a profound prophecy of Messiah’s role as the suffering servant Messiah ben Yoseph as fulfilled by Yeshua of Nazareth.

Mysteries of the Lost Ark Revealed

Mysteries of the Lost Ark Revealed
By
James Scott Trimm

In the Book of Hebrews Paul writes of the furnishings of the Tabernacle:

1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
(Hebrews 9:1-5 KJV)

Paul is telling us that he has information was of a SOD (secret) nature that he was not permitted to reveal to the world at that time.  There are, in fact, many wonderful things we can learn concerning the Ark of the Covenant.  In this article I will deal with just the one.

The Zohar tells us that the two cherubim mounted on the mercy seat (the cover) represent the opposing male and female aspects of YHWH:

“It has been taught: Three times daily a miracle occurred with their wings.  When the holiness of the King was manifested upon them, they raised their wings in their own, spreading them and shielding the cover.  Afterward, they folded their wings, resting them on their bodies, as is written: The cherubim shall be spreading wings above (Ex. 25:20)– spreading, not [with wings] spread.  Sheltering the cover with their wings (ibid.)– not with sheltering wings.  For they stood miraculously, rejoicing in Shekhinah.”

Rabbi Abba said, “What is this doing here: For in the cloud I appear over the cover (Leviticus 16:2)? And it is written: בזאת (Be-zot), With this shall Aaron enter the sanctuary (ibid.,3). After all, the priest did not see when he entered!  Well, the cloud descended, and when it descended it reached this cover, and the wings of the cherubim stirred and they fluttered them and uttered song.

“What song did they sing? For great is YHVH and highly praised, awesome is He over all gods (Psalms 96:4).  This, when they raised their wings;  when they spread them, they would say, For all gods of the peoples are useless, but YHVH has made the heavens (ibid., 5). When they shielded the cover, they would say, Before YHVH, for He comes to judge the earth.  He will judge the world with righteousness, render judgment upon the nations with equity (Psalms 98:9).

“The priest would hear their voices in the Temple, and then he set the incense in its place, focusing his intention so that all would be blessed. The sound of cherubim’s wings ascended and descended as they chanted song; they sheltered the cover, and then raised them, as it is written: sheltering [the cover] with their wings (Exodus 25:20)– sheltering, precisely! And how do we know that their sound was heard?  As is written: I heard the sound of their wings… (Ezekiel 1:24).”

Rabbi Yose said, “He will render judgment upon the nations במישרים (be-meisharim), with equity.  What is be-meisharim, with equity?  As is said: מישרים (Meisharim), Rightly, do they love you (Song of Songs 1:4)– including both cherubim, male and female; meisharim, surely!  Thus, He will render judgment upon the nations with meisharim.  And it is written: He would hear the voice being spoken to him from between the two cherubim, and he would speak to him (Numbers 7:89).

Rabbi Yitzak said, “From here we learn that wherever male and female are not found, one is not worthy to see the face of the Shekhinah, as is written: ישרים (Yesharim), The upright, will dwell in Your presence (Psalms 140:14).  And we have learned: It is written Righteous and upright is He (Deuteronomy 32:4)– male and female.  Here too, the cherubim– male and female– of whom is written It was You who founded מישרים (meisharim) , equity (Psalms 99:4); He will render judgment upon the nations במישרים (be-meisharim), with equity.  Thus, their faces toward each other (Exodus 25:20), and we have established.”
(Zohar 3:59a Pritzker edition)

The first century Jewish writer Philo of Alexandria taught that the two cherubim represented “the two most ancient and supreme powers of the divine God, namely, his creative and his kingly power”:

(97) But the ark is the depository of the laws, for in that are placed the holy oracles of God, which were given to Moses; and the covering of the ark, which is called the mercy-seat, is a foundation for two winged creatures to rest upon, which are called, in the native language of the Hebrews, cherubim, but as the Greeks would translate the word, vast knowledge and science. (98) Now some persons say, that these cherubim are the symbols of the two hemispheres, placed opposite to and fronting one another, the one beneath the earth and the other above the earth, for the whole heaven is endowed with wings. (99) But I myself should say, that what is here represented under a figure are the two most ancient and supreme powers of the divine God, namely, his creative and his kingly power; and his creative power is called God; according to which he arranged, and created, and adorned this universe, and his kingly power is called Lord, by which he rules over the beings whom he has created, and governs them with justice and firmness; (100) for he, being the only true living God, is also really the Creator of the world; since he brought things which had no existence into being; and he is also a king by nature, because no one can rule over beings that have been created more justly than he who created them.
(Life of Moses II)

(57) Why God places a cherubim in front of the Paradise, and a flaming sword, which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life? (Gen. 3:24). The name cherubim designates the two original virtues which belong to the Deity, namely, his creative and his royal virtues. The one of which has the title of God, the other, or the royal virtue, that of Lord. Now the form of the creative power is a peaceable, and gentle, and beneficent virtue; but the royal power is a legislative, and chastising, and correcting virtue.
(QA1Gen)

Philo also taught that “the third thing which was between the two, and had the effect of bringing them together was reason (the LOGOS) [Word]:

(27) I have also, on one occasion, heard a more ingenious train of reasoning from my own soul, which was accustomed frequently to be seized with a certain divine inspiration, even concerning matters which it could not explain even to itself; which now, if I am able to remember it accurately, I will relate. It told me that in the one living and true God there were two supreme and primary powers–goodness and authority; and that by his goodness he had created everything, and by his authority he governed all that he had created; (28) and that the third thing which was between the two, and had the effect of bringing them together was reason (the LOGOS), for that it was owing to reason that God was both a ruler and good. Now, of this ruling authority and of this goodness, being two distinct powers, the cherubim were the symbols, but of reason the flaming sword was the symbol. For reason (the LOGOS) is a thing capable of rapid motion and impetuous, and especially the reason of the Creator of all things is so, inasmuch as it was before everything and passed by everything, and was conceived before everything, and appears in everything. (29) And do thou, O my mind, receive the impression of each of these cherubims unadulterated, that thus becoming thoroughly instructed about the ruling authority of the Creator of all things and about his goodness, thou mayest receive a happy inheritance; for immediately thou shalt understand the conjunction and combination of these imperishable powers, and learn in what respects God is good, his majesty arising from his sovereign power being all the time conspicuous; and in what he is powerful, his goodness, being equally the object of attention, that is this way thou mayest attain to the virtues which are engendered by these conceptions, namely, a love and a reverential awe of God, neither being uplifted to arrogance by any prosperity which may befall thee, having regard always to the greatness of the sovereignty of thy King; nor abjectly giving up hope of better things in the hour of unexpected misfortune, having regard, then, to the mercifulness of thy great and bounteous God. (30) And let the flaming sword teach thee that these things might be followed by a prompt and fiery reason combined with action, which never ceases being in motion with rapidity and energy to the selection of good objects, and the avoidance of all such as are evil.  (31) Do you not see that even the wise Abraham, when he began to measure everything with a reference to God, and to leave nothing to the creature, took an imitation of the flaming sword, namely, “fire and a Sword,” being eager to slay and to burn that mortal creature which was born of him, that so being raised on high it might soar up to God, the intellect being thus disentangled from the body.
(On the Cherubim 27-31)

Philo taught that it was the Word which spoke to Moses from between the two cherubim:

XXXIV. (165) And he apportioned cold and heat, and summer and spring, the different seasons of the year, divided by the same dividing Word. And the three days which passed before the creation of the sun, are equal in number to the three days of the first week which came after the creation of the sun, the number six being dissected equally in order to display the character of eternity and of time. For thus God allotted three days to eternity before the appearance of the sun, and those which came after the sun he allotted to time; the sun being an imitation of eternity, and time and eternity being the two primary powers of the living God; (166) the one his beneficent power, in accordance with which he made the world, and in respect of which he is called God; the other his chastening power, according to which he rules and governs what he has created, in respect of which he is further denominated Lord, and these two he here states to be divided in the middle by him standing above them both. “For,” says he, “I will speak to you from above the mercy-seat, in the midst, between the two Cherubims;”(Exodus 25:22). that he might show that the most ancient powers of the living God are equal; that is to say, his beneficent and his chastising power, being both divided by the same dividing Word.
(Who is the Heir of All Divine Things )

XIX. (100) These, then, are the six cities which Moses calls cities of refuge, five of which have had their figures set forth in the sacred scriptures, and their images are there likewise. The images of the cities of command and prohibition are the laws in the ark; that of the merciful power of God is the covering of the ark, and he calls it the mercy-seat. The images of the creative power and of the kingly power are the winged cherubim which are placed upon it. (101) But the divine word which is above these does not come into any visible appearance, inasmuch as it is not like to any of the things that come under the external senses, but is itself an image of God, the most ancient of all the objects of intellect in the whole world, and that which is placed in the closest proximity to the only truly existing God, without any partition or distance being interposed between them: for it is said, “I will speak unto thee from above the mercyseat, in the midst, between the two Cherubim.” (Exodus 25:22). So that the word is, as it were, the charioteer of the powers, and he who utters it is the rider, who directs the charioteer how to proceed with a view to the proper guidance of the universe.
(On Flight and FInding)

Thus we learn that the two Cherubim represent the distinctive male and female aspects of YHWH which are expressed in “goodness” as YHWH’s “creative” aspect and “authority” as YHWH’s “kingship” aspect.  And that the sword of fire is the “Word” which brings these two aspects together and which spoke to Moses from between the two cherubim.  These are the Three Pillars of the Godhead.

I Came Not to Send Peace, But a Sword: The Footsteps of Messiah

I Came Not to Send Peace, But a Sword:
The Footsteps of Messiah
By
James Scott Trimm

When I present Messiah to my Rabbinic friends, they often respond by saying that Messiah is supposed to bring peace on earth, but that Yeshua himself said he came bot to bring peace, but a sword.

The passage to which they refer is Mattew 10:34-36 (though most do not actually know to which verses they refer) where Yeshua quotes Micah 7:6 saying:

34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.(Micah 7:6)
36  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
(Matt. 10:34-36 KJV)

The truth is that the Talmud also applies this very same verse (Micah 7:6) to the Messiah.  In tractate Sanhedrin we read:

It has been taught: R. Nehorai said: in the generation when Messiah comes, young men will insult the old, and old men will stand before the young [to give them honour]; daughters will rise up against their mothers, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law. (Micah 7:6) The people shall be dog-faced, and a son will not be abashed in his father’s presence.
(b.San 97a)

This Gemara (San. 97a) actually draws from an earlier tradition recorded in the Mishnah:

UPON WHOM IS IT FOR US TO RELY? UPON OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE MESSIAH INSOLENCE WILL INCREASE AND HONOUR DWINDLE; THE VINE WILL YIELD ITS FRUIT [ABUNDANTLY] BUT WINE WILL BE DEAR; THE GOVERNMENT WILL TURN TO HERESY AND THERE WILL BE NONE [TO OFFER THEM] REPROOF; THE MEETING-PLACE [OF SCHOLARS] WILL BE USED FOR IMMORALITY; GALILEE WILL BE DESTROYED, GABLAN DESOLATED, AND THE DWELLERS ON THE FRONTIER WILL GO ABOUT [BEGGING] FROM PLACE TO PLACE WITHOUT ANYONE TO TAKE PITY ON THEM; THE WISDOM OF THE LEARNED WILL DEGENERATE, FEARERS OF SIN WILL BE DESPISED, AND THE TRUTH WILL BE LACKING; YOUTHS WILL PUT OLD MEN TO SHAME, THE OLD WILL STAND UP IN THE PRESENCE OF THE YOUNG, A SON WILL REVILE HIS FATHER, A DAUGHTER WILL RISE AGAINST HER MOTHER, A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW, AND A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD;(MICAH 7:6) THE FACE OF THE GENERATION WILL BE LIKE THE FACE OF A DOG, A SON WILL NOT FEEL ASHAMED BEFORE HIS FATHER. SO UPON WHOM IS IT FOR US TO RELY? UPON OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN.
(m.Sotah 9:15; b.Sotah 49b)

Yes, the Messiah will ultimately bring peace on earth, but first, the footsteps of the Messiah bring not peace, but a sword.  This is not only the teaching of Yeshua as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, it is also the teaching of the Talmud!

The Odds Yeshua is Not Messiah are Statistically Zero!

The Odds Yeshua is Not Messiah are Statistically Zero!
By
James Scott Trimm

I have always said that my faith is a “Rational Faith” based upon logic.  To prove my point, today I have “calculated” the basis of my faith to the last decimal point.  Whereas I have said that Rabbinic Judaism is based on the logic error known as circular thinking.  They claim they are the only true Jews because only they can decide who is a true Jew, because only they are true Jews. And so the dog chases it’s own tail.

By contrast, Nazarene Judaism is based upon logic and the logical conclusion that Yeshua of Nazareth fulfilled over 365 Tanak prophecies.  This number includes only prophecies in the Tanak itself, and not several additional prophecies in the apocrypha that Yeshua also fulfilled.

This is simply a matter of logic and math.  I have done the math and even if we say that there was a 50/50 chance of any given individual fulfilling any one of these prophecies by chance alone (and that is an overly conservative figure), then the odds of Yeshua fulfilling all 365 of these prophecies by chance alone would be

75,153,362,648,762,663,292,463,379,097,258,784,876,021,841,565,066,235,862,633,311,089,030,688,803,667,470,190,838,367,948,312,598,497,021,919,232 to 1 against.

That big number is 75 trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion.  Or in scientific notation 7.515336264 E+109.  This number is even larger than the number of atoms in the observable universe!

Since only about 107 billion people have ever walked the earth, this figure far, far exceeds the “statistical proof” of a DNA test.

So the odds that Yeshua was not the Messiah are not statistically different from zero, because nowhere near enough people have ever lived for it to be possible for any one of them to have fulfilled all of these prophecies by chance alone.

The Five Satans in the Book of Enoch

The Five Satans in the Book of Enoch
By
James Scott Trimm

We read in the Torah:

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and
daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were fair. And they took them wives, whomsoever they chose.
3 And YHWH said: My Spirit shall not abide in man forever. For that he also is flesh;
therefore shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.
4 The N’filim were on the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of
Elohim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. The same were the mighty men that were of old–the men of renown.
5 And YHWH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil; continually.
6 And it repented YHWH that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.
7 And YHWH said: I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the earth:
both man, and beast, and creeping thing, and fowl of the air, for it repents Me that I have made them.
(Gen. 6:1-7 HRV)

Who were these “sons of Elohim”? The Book of Enoch tells us that these “sons of Elohim” were “angels” who had “left their first estate”

and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.  They are presumptuous, self-willed; they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
(2Peter 2:2-10 HRV)

And the angels who did not keep their first estate,  but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
as S’dom and ‘Amora and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of rulers.
(Jude 1:6-8 HRV)

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.
2 And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’
3 And Shemikhazah, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear you will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’
4 And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’
5 Then they all swore together and bound themselves by imprecations upon it.
6 And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Yared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by imprecations upon it.
(1Enoch 6:1-6)

The Book of Enoch tells us that these fallen angels became subjects of “Satan”:

And Mikha’el, and Gavri’el, and Rafa’el, and P’nuel  shall take hold of them on that great day, and cast them on that day into the burning furnace, that YHWH Tzva’ot may take vengeance on them for their unrighteousness in becoming subject to Satan and leading astray those who dwell on the earth.’
(1Enoch 54:6)

It is important to understand that “Satan” is not a name.  “Satan” is a title, it is a Hebrew word meaning “adversary”.  In the Tanak it often appears in the Hebrew with a definite article as “HaSatan” (“THE Satan”) although in Hebrew (as in English), names never appear with a definite article.  It is never “The James”.

Ironically in most places where you see the word “Lord” in your Bibles, the Hebrew word is actually YHWH, which is the Name of the Creator.  Theologians have replaced the Name of the Creator with a title, and turned the title “HaSatan” (“The Adversary”) into a name!

The Book of Enoch also makes a very interesting statement:

And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before YHWH of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth.
(1Enoch 40:7)

Now to people today who have been conditioned to think of “Satan” as a name rather than a title, seeing the name Satan in the plural seems very odd indeed.  But to the ancient Hebrew reader we are simply looking at the title “the adversary” describing more than one “adversary”.  Yes the Book of Enoch is telling us that the Fallen Angels are subject to more than one “satan” (adversary).  (Since the Tanak often uses the term “THE Adversary” (Ha-Satan) it is clear that there is nonetheless a unique figure who is a leader over all of the fallen angels who is called in the Hebrew “Ha-Satan” “The Satan”.

After giving the names of the twenty leaders of tens of the fallen angels (found in 1Enoch 6:7-8 and repeated in 1Enoch 69:2-3) the Book of Enoch gives us a list of five leaders over forties in 69:4-12 who are five “satans” or five adversaries to whom the fallen angels are subject. These appear to be the “satans” referred to in 1Enoch 40:7.

This portion of the Book of Enoch (1Enoch 69) has only survived in Ethiopic, however I will endeavor in this article to reach behind the Ethiopic, to the original Hebrew of these verses:

4 The name of the first Yekon:
that is, the one who led astray [all] the sons of Elohim,  and brought them down to the earth, and led them astray through the daughters of men.

The original Hebrew behind “Yekon” may have been יקום (Yekom) “rebel; one who rises up” however in Biblical Hebrew this word (from a root meaning “to rise up”) simply means “a living thing” (Strong’s 3351).  Another possibility is יקמעם (Y’kam’am) (Strong’s 3360) which is a name used twice in the Tanak (1Chr. 23:19; 24:23) meaning “he who gathers the people together”.  (Or simply “Y’kam” יקם “he who gathers”) Yekon appears to be a title for Shemikhazah who in the Book of Enoch chapter 6 led the 200 fallen angels astray through the daughters of men.

5 And the second was named Asbeel:
he imparted to the set-apart sons of Elohim evil counsel, and led them astray so that they defiled their bodies with the daughters of men.

“Asbeel” is probably a scribal error for Kasbeel, who while they still dwelt in heaven obtained the secret of the sacred name and the secret of its numbers so that they could be used in the oath that bound them together:

13 And this is the number of Kasbeel, the chief of the oath, which he showed to the set-apart ones when he dwelt high above in glory, and its name is Biqa.
14 This (angel) requested Mikha’el to show him the hidden name, that he might enunciate it in the oath, so that those might quake before that name and oath
15 who revealed all that was in secret to the children of men? And this is the power of this oath, for it is powerful and strong, and he placed this oath Akae in the hand of Mikha’el.
(1Enoch 69:13-15)

This was covered in great detail in a recent article: Secrets of the Oath That Binds the Fallen Angels.  The underlying Hebrew for Kasbeel may have been חשביל (Khashevel) “thought of El.”

6 And the third was named Gadreel:
he it is who showed the children of men all the blows of death, and he led astray Eve,  and showed [the weapons of death to the sons of men] the shield and the coat of mail, and the sword for battle, and all the weapons of death to the children of men.
7 And from his hand they have proceeded against those who dwell on the earth from that day and for evermore.

Gadreel appears to be a title for Asa’el/Azazel of whom he Book of Enoch says:

1 And Asa’el taught men to make swords of iron, and knives, and shields, and breastplates of brass, and made known to them the metals that are excavated from the earth and the art of working gold and concerning silver, and bracelets, and ornaments, and concerning antimony, and eye shadow, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.
2 And there arose much godlessness, and being wicked, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways.
(1Enoch 8:1-2)

And here Enoch tells us that Azazel was one and the same with the Serpent in the garden of Eden.  The Hebrew may have been גדראל (Gederel) “mason of El” or “wall of El”

8 And the fourth was named Penemue:
he taught the children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom.
9 And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to eternity and until this day.

The title in Hebrew may have been פנה אמונה (Pana Emunah) “He has turned from trust/faith” or פנמו  “inside”  Since the Book of Enoch itself refers to Enoch as “Enoch the Scribe” (1Enoch 12:4), Enoch felt a parenthetical explanation was needed:

10 For men were not created for such a purpose, to give confirmation to their good faith with pen and ink.
11 For men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them, but through this their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power it is consuming me.

So writing was not originally intended for man at the time he was created (because man was created immortal), but after the fall, writing serves the purpose of allowing man to pass information from generation to generation, so that ideas are not lost when men die.

12 And the fifth was named Kasdeya:
this is he who showed the children of men all the wicked smitings of spirits and demons, and the smitings of the embryo in the womb,  that it may pass away, and [the smitings of the soul] the bites of the serpent, and the smitings which befall through the noontide heat, the son of the serpent named Taba’et.
(1Enoch 69:4-12)

The Book of Enoch tells us that the fallen angels introduced an ancient abortion procedure, showing “the children of men … the smitings of the embryo in the womb, that it may pass away,…” (1Enoch 69:12)

Similarly the Book of Jasher (see Joshua 10:23 and 2Sam. 1:18) tells us that during these days before the flood a “draught” was also introduced that was a permanent method of birth control for women:

17 And Lamech, the son of M’tushael, became related to Kayinan by marriage, and he took his two daughters for his wives, and Adah conceived and bare a son to Lamech, and she called his name Yaval.
18 And she again conceived and bare a son, and called his name Yuval; and Zillah, her sister, was barren in those days and had no offspring.
19 For in those days the sons of men began to trespass against Elohim, and to transgress the commandments which he had commanded to the man, to be fruitful and multiply in the earth.
20 And some of the sons of men caused their wives to drink a draught that would render them barren, in order that they might retain their figures and whereby their beautiful appearance might not fade.
21 And when the sons of men caused some of their wives to drink, Zillah drank with them.
22 And the child-bearing women appeared abominable in the eyes of their husbands as widows, while their husbands lived, for to the barren ones only they were attached.
(Jasher 2:17-22)

This sterilization “draught” was likely also introduced by the fallen angels.

Later in the Book of Enoch, Enoch speaks of abortion in the last days saying:

And in those days the women shall become pregnant
and abort their babies
And cast them out from their midst
Yea, they shall abandon their children (that are still) sucklings,
and not return to them,
And shall have no pity on their beloved ones.
(1Enoch 99:5)

The original Hebrew of the Book of Enoch has not survived, and this passage has survived only in the Ancient Ethiopic version. In the Ethiopic the word for “abort” here is MASIT a verb meaning “to pluck or tear out”; “to violently remove”; “to carry off” or “to rob”. Clearly this passage speaks of women aborting their babies in the last days.

The original Hebrew behind “Kasdeya” may have been חסדיה (Khesedyah)“Yah has favored” (see 1Chron. 3:20) but Aramaic כשדיא (Kash’diya) “Chaldeans” may be more likely.

There is not just one Adversary (Satan) there are five adversaries (satans) who are leaders over the fallen angels.  Spiritual Warfare is much more complicated that you may have realized, there is not just one Satan, there are FIVE!

Passion Week Chronology Issues

Over the last twenty years I have seen many troll the internet, absolutely sure that they have the one and only solution to the Passion week chronology and the times and days of Yeshua’s “Last Supper”, crucifixion, burial and resurrection. I have studied this issue myself for at least 35 years. What I have found, is that those who insist that their solution is the only possible solution, generally have not taken into account at least some of the variables. In many cases, they were ignorant that some of the variables even existed. So here are some of the variables and facts that they have not all taken into account:

The claim that the use of the Greek word Arturo in the Gospel accounts of the Last Supper, does not indicate the use of leavened bread. Click here to see why.

The Last Supper in the Gospel of John, is the Same event as the Last Supper in the Synoptic Gospels. Click here to see why.

The original Jewish version of Matthew did not include the phrase “three days and three nights” in Matthew 12:40. Click here to see why.

Luke 24:21 requires a Thursday Crucifixion. Click here to see why.

The word for “dawning” in the Aramaic reading of Luke 23:54 can indicate any time from evening until dawn. Click here to see why.

The Hebrew (Dutillet and Munster) text of Matthew 27:62 says “Now on the next day, which was following the search for leaven.”

The resurrection took place “when the sabbath had past” (Mark 16:1) and not “late on the Sabbath”. “Late on the Sabbath is a common transliteration of of Matthew 28:1 which itself is based on a demonstrable scribal error. Click here to see why.

Was the annual Sabbath on the 14th of Nisan or the 15th of Nisan? – In the Torah we are told (in the KJV) that the “first day” and the “seventh day” of Unleavened Bread” are annual sabbaths (Ex. 12:16). The Hebrew phrase for “first day” is YOM ROSHON which can also mean “foremost day” or “day before” (as in KJV Num. 6:12; Josh 8:33b and 1Kings 13:6). So there is a halachic issue as to whether this refers to the 15th of Nissan (the common interpretation) or the 14th of Nisan.

Was Passover just an offering and meal, or was it a day? There seems to have been an ancient ambiguity as to whether the 14th of Nisan was Passover Day, or whether it was just an offering eaten at the “erev” of the 14th of Nisan. This gave rise to the question over whether Passover/Unleavened Bread was a Seven day or an Eight day system. That issue was further complicated by the fact that by the first century, it was common to refer to the whole seven or eight day period as “Passover” as it is today.

Can the “erev” of the 14th be the erev between the 13th and 14th or must it be between the 14th and 15th. Erev is a zero dimensional point between days, so the 14th has arguably two erevs.

What does the phrase “between the evenings” really mean?

Were Yeshua and his Talmudim keeping the same halacha on the matters above as the Temple Priesthood?

When Yeshua sat down for the last supper on the “first day” according to the KJV synoptic gospels, but on the “before the feast of Passover” in John 13:1 KJV, the DuTillet Hebrew of Matthew has YOM ROSHON which Schonfield translates “first day” and the Aramaic Gospels have Aramaic words which share that ambiguity between “first” and “before” or “foremost”.

Were Yeshua and his Talmidim using the same calendar as the Temple priesthood? For example the invisible dark new moon is typically the day before the first crescent, which would have created a one day variance between groups keeping the dark moon and groups keeping the crescent. And there are other possible calendar issues.

All of these facts and questions/variables have to be taken into account in any passion week chronology.

Book of Enoch Class Lesson 1

We are now in New Mexico, on the road to return home from an out of state Passover event. My wife Kitty (who is disabled and chronically ill) is having a hard time on the road, so we are having to stop over and take extra nights on the way home. We are running out of funds to get home and meanwhile the rent is due and we do not have it! We need your support. Any donation is better than no donation, and any donation will help.

I know we are living in uncertain times, but now more than ever, we need your help.   Elohim has taken away sports, shut down movie theaters, shut down concerts, shut down the economy, and even the gatherings of organized religion. Does He have your attention yet? One thing the news media has not reported is that not only is toilet paper, hand sanitizer and food flying off store shelves… so are Bibles! All the distractions are gone. Take this time to study the Scriptures and focus on the Creator and your family.
