Taking Back the Hijacked Faith:
The Restitution of All Things
By
Rabbi Robert O. Miller
“…[Yahweh] shall send Messiah YahShua, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the Times of Restitution of all things, which Yahweh hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. (Acts 3:20,21)”
In Rabbi Silas’ brief history of the Netzarim, the Book of Acts, it is recorded that Rabbi Kepha gave a powerful Spirit-filled sermon at Solomon’s Colonnade in the Temple for all to hear. He was preaching to a crowd who just minutes before were eye witnesses to the healing of the lame man at the magnificent 60 foot wide “Gate Beautiful” of the Temple. He boldly told his listeners: “You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the Author of Life, but Yahweh raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. (Acts 3:14-15)” After he hit them in the face with this revelation he applied the Balm of Gilead to their psychological wound when he said: “Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. But this is how Yahweh fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiahwould suffer. Teshuvah (Repent), turn to Yahweh, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from Yahweh, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for Yahweh to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. (Acts 3:17-21)” “Restitution,” according to Funk and Wagnall’s Dictionary, means the act of restoring something that has been taken away or lost; the act of making good or rendering an equivalent as for loss or injury. “Restitution,” which is translated from the Greek word “apokatastasis” meaning the restoration of a true theocracy; from the Hebrew word “shalam” meaning to be complete, be sound. The restoration of all things, as the phrase suggests, is the act of bringing all things back in accordance with its original Faith.
There will be a “Restitution of ALL THINGS.” But there is no need to restore ALL things if there has been no apostasy or loss of the essentials of the Faith.
“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. (Revelation 2:5)”
If the Holy Scripture says that all the prophets spoke of “the Times of Restitution of all things,” then we should be able to find those scriptures.
The Prophet Isaiah, who when he had finished prophesying the Babylonian captivity, looked beyond their present circumstances and saw “the Times of Restitution of all things.”
“Comfort, comfort my people, says your Elohim. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from Yahweh’s hand double for all her sins. A voice of one calling: “In the desert prepare the way for Yahweh; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our Elohim. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of Yahweh will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.” (Isaiah 40:1-5)”
The Prophet Isaiah pictures the glory of those coming “Times of Restitution”: “The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of Yahweh, the splendor of our Elohim. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your Elohim will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you.” Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. (Isaiah 35:1-7)”
The Prophet Isaiah also lets us know, “the Times of Restitution of all things,” is not just a physical restoration, but most importantly, it is a restoration of Faith: “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In His law the islands will put their hope. (Isaiah 42:3-4)”
The Prophet Daniel was caught up in Spirit and was also given a glimpse of “the Times of Restitution of all things”: “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of Heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14)”
The Apostle, Rabbi Sha’ul, tells us that the act of worship: what meat we eat and or what we drink, our holy days, new moons and Sabbaths are in reality shadows of “the Times of Restitution of all things”: “These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Messiah. (Colossians 2:17)”
“With all wisdom and understanding, [Yahweh] made known to us the mystery of His will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Messiah, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Messiah. (Ephesians 1:9,10)”
This brings me to the crux of the matter. The so-called representatives of the Messiah, as seen in Christianity, have almost no true understanding of the Scriptures. We know that the Scriptures say: “Say to the Israelites ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am Yahweh, who makes you holy.’ (Exodus 31:13)” Yet they talk about Sunday. We know that Yahweh said concerning His Holy Days: “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of Yahweh, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. (Leviticus 23:1)” Yet they talk about Christmas and Easter decrying, “Celebrate the Season but don’t forget the reason!” We know that the Scriptures questions to true Believer: “Who hath ascended up into Heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, Tell me if you know!? (Proverbs 30:4)” Well, we do know that our Heavenly fathers name is Yahweh: “Say to the Israelites, Yahweh, the Elohim of your fathers—the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac and the Elohim of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. (Exodus 3:15)” And that His Son’s name is YahShua: “you are to give him the name YahShua because he will save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)” He is the “Adam Kadmon” “…the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn over all creation. (Colossians 1:15)” Yet the Church says their names are God and Jesus and get indignant when challenged. We know that the Scriptures say that: “the Holy City, the new Jerusalem (is) coming down out of heaven from Yahweh, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband… the dwelling of Yahweh is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them and be their Elohim. (Revelation 21:1,3)” Yet they talk about going up to Heaven for eternity. They also talk about an immortal soul yet the Scriptures say: “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)” They say that “God is a trinity” and when pushed to explain it they say they can’t because it is a mystery; but the Scriptures say: “Hear, O Israel: Yahweh our Elohim, Yahweh is one. (Deuteronomy 6:4)”
Did you notice that these doctrines primarily belong to Israel: “Say to the Israelites…” These so-called teachers “…have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of Yahweh (Hebrews 5:12)” “For primarily unto [Israel] were committed the oracles of Yahweh (Romans 3:2).” Is it because they just misinterpreted the Scriptures or is there a more sinister reason for their message? Every true doctrine has its counterfeit and our most precious Faith was hijacked by “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” HaSatan’s religion is to confuse people.
So, why you? Why are you privileged to know Yahweh’s truth? Why has our Congregation been blessed with divine revelation? The people who dash around during the holidays trying to fulfill the pagan traditions; the people who believe the counterfeit faith are not stupid people. In fact they represent the majority of people. “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given… Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive for the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I shouldheal them. (Isaiah 6:9,10) But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. (Matthew 13:11,13-17)” Although he was talking to the Talmidim (disciples) then, His words reach down through the dusty corridors of time to you and me and to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel spread out all over the world even down in Australia and New Zealand where are sister Congregations are keeping the Faith.
“For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:13)”
The world cannot receive the truth. “…the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehendit. (John 1:5)” Why is this so? Because, as our Messiah said, “this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19)”
Rebbe YahShua said that it was to Israel and only to Israel that He came to seek and save.
“[Messiah said] I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. (Matthew 15:24)”
“…the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10)”
It is for the reconciliation of the Lost Sheep of Israel, primarily, and through them all of the other nations that would convert and become Israel, that Messiah had come.
“I have become its servant by the commission Yahweh gave me to present to you the word of Yahweh in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them Yahweh has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:25-27)”
Listen how Rabbi Sha’ul addressed his letters: “To all that be in Rome, beloved of Yahweh, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from Yahweh our Father, and King Messiah YahShua. (Romans 1:7)”
“To the Called Out of Yahweh in Corinth, to those sanctified in Messiah YahShua and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our King Messiah YahShua—their King and ours (1 Corinthians 1:2)”
“To the Called Out of Yahweh in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father, and King Messiah YahShua. (2 Corinthians 1:2)”
“To the Called Out in Galatia: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father and King Messiah YahShua, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our Yahweh our Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amien. (Galatians 1:2-5)”
“To the saints in Ephesus, the faithfulin Messiah YahShua: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua. (Ephesians 1;1,2)”
“To all the saints in Messiah YahShua at Philippi, together with the overseersand deacons: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father and King Messiah YahShua. (Philippians 1:1,2)”
“To the holy and faithfulbrothers in Messiah at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father. (Colossians 1:2)”
“To the Called Out of the Thessalonians in Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua: Grace and peace to you (1 Thessalonians 1:1).”
“To the Called Out of the Thessalonians in Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua: Grace and peace to you from Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua. (2 Thessalonians 1:1,2)”
“To Timothy my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua. (1 Timothy 1:2)”
“To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from Yahweh our Father and the King Messiah YahShua. (2 Timothy 1:2)”
“Rabbi Sha’ul, a servant of Yahweh and an apostle of Messiah YahShua for the faith of Yahweh ‘s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness — a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which Yahweh, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and at his appointed season he brought his word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of Yahweh our Savior, to Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from Yahweh the Father and Messiah YahShua our Savior. (Titus 1:1-4)”
Rabbi Sha’ul was chosen by Messiah to be His “chosen instrument to carry [his] name before the nations and their kings and before the people of Israel. (Acts 9:15)” Rabbi Sha’ul was not writing to the masses, he was writing to the “lost sheep of Israel.”
Rabbi Yakkov Ha Tzaddik, the brother of our Messiah and leader of the Messianic Movement of the Netzarim addressed his letter: “Yakkov, a servant of Yahweh and of King Messiah YahShua, to the twelve tribes scattered among the nations…(James 1:1)” This letter is not addressed to the Gentiles. It is not addressed exclusively to the Jews. It is addressed to all the Tribes of Israel!
Rabbi Kepha, one of our Messiah’s most trusted talmidim described himself as: “Kepha, an apostle of Messiah YahShua, (sent) to Yahweh’s elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia” (1 Peter 1:1)” The word “strangers” used here does not mean Gentiles. The original Greek is “parepidemos”. It means literally, “an alien alongside,” “a resident alien ” living “throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia”
Rabbi Yochannan ben Sefedy received this revelation: “The revelation of Messiah YahShua, which Yahweh gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant Yochannan, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of Yahweh and the testimony of Messiah YahShua. (Revelation 1:1,2)”
I do not believe the Book of Revelation was to be understood until this generation, much like the Book of Enoch. “The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the Day of Tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by Yahweh, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. (1 Enoch 1:1-3)” Who in this generation is supposed to understand the Book of Revelation? “The revelation of Messiah YahShua, which Yahweh gave him to show his servants what must soon take place… Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Yochannan, to the seven Congregations of Called Out Ones in the province of Asia (Revelation 1:1,3,4)” These seven congregation existed in the First Century of the common era in what we now know as Turkey. “I, Yochannan, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in YahShua, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of Yahweh and the testimony of YahShua. On Yahweh’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven Congregations of Called Out Ones: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. (Revelation 1:9-11)”
I believe this is the “Last Generation” we are apart of this “Times of Refreshing” coming in three stages repentance, refreshing, revival, this will restore the True Faith.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)” And I believe, though these prophecies were written to these “seven Congregations,” its greater fulfillment is to be realized by our generation, “the elect and righteous, who will be living in the Day of Tribulation.” Notice the words of King Messiah YahShua to Rabbi Yochannan: “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. (Revelation 1:19)” In other words there was a type fulfillment then “what is now” but the full message would be later “what will take place later”.
And it is in these evaluations of the “seven Congregations” that we receive our information concerning the things our Messiah wants restored to the Commonwealth of Israel.
“To the angel of the Congregation of Called Out Ones of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden menorahs: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. (Revelation 2:1-4)”
When you loose the love of the Spirit for one another you loose your testimony. “Let me renew commandment: you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves]. (John 13:34,35)” Can you remember those that came here and at first were so gung-ho that they wanted to shout the message far and wide but have left, some into Judaism, some doing their own thing and others back to the Church. Have they lost their first love? But not just them – all of us – is it possible they you would love something or some one so much that at one time you were willing to give your life for it and now it has become tired, old and worn out.
“Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you suddenly, and will remove your menorah out of his place, except you repent. (Revelation 2:5)”
Remembering Rabbi Kepha’s other powerful Spirit-filled sermon: “Repent and be immersed, every one of you, by authority of Messiah YahShua for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)” “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near, (Matthew 3:2)” too near to become tired, old and worn out. Your salvation is on the line. “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:14,15)” The Faithful listen to Torah and will repent, and do their first works again because they know this is the last hour! Repentance is best understood by the Hebrew word ‘teshuvah” meaning to turn back to Yahweh, to change. Repentance is a yearly thing, it’s a monthly thing, it’s a weekly thing, it’s a daily thing, it’s a hourly thing, and it’s a minute-by-minute thing. Sadly some Believers are unwilling to admit they have ever made a mistake, or have ever had a wrong attitude, or have done something they shouldn’t have done. “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4:17)” All they have to do is go to Yahweh and then to the offended person and say, “I am sorry, I shouldn’t have done it, I shouldn’t have thought it, or I shouldn’t have felt it, I shouldn’t have participated in it– PLEASE FORGIVE ME! To the offended True Believer, the forgiveness was already done when the offense originated. We try to give what the Heavenly Father has given us: “…exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)” This is mostly what the Heavenly Father asks of us – teshuvah – repent – be willing to change.
“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of Yahweh according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank Yahweh—through Messiah YahShua our King! (Romans 7:14-24)”
To repent we have to be willing to admit that in our natural condition we are incomplete.
To repent we have to be willing to admit that in our present state we are not able to successfully direct our lives.
To repent we have to be willing to admit that in our present state we are deeply flawed.
“…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Yahweh, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Messiah YahShua. (Romans 3:23,24)”
To repent we have to be willing to admit that in our present state we are disgusting. “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is no one who calls on Your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our iniquities. But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:6-8)” We must humble ourselves if we are ever going to receive “the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
There are those they work at ministry but are not working for Yahweh.
“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ (they sound like modern ministers) And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock (Matthew 7:22-24).” These gospel workers were in tremendous need of repentance.
There are people in love with their thoughts. They have an idea and since they have this idea it must be great. And they cannot entertain that their thoughts might be incorrect. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)” The idea of teshuvah is to change in a way that you get so close to Yahweh that He starts feeding you His thoughts and information through His Spirit of Truth.
The last thing Rabbi Kepha wrote was: “…grow in the grace and knowledge of our King and Savior Messiah YahShua. To him be glory both now and forever! Amien. (2 Peter 3:18)” I have had those that said to me, upon me sharing this Full Messianic Message, “I don’t want to know anything more.” Because the Scriptures say: “For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:48)” What they are really saying is they are unwilling to “grow in the grace and knowledge.”
We simply cannot afford to loose our “first love” and become tired, old and worn out – we must keep going forward, or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy menorah out of his place, except thou repent. (Revelation 2:5)” “…let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)”
“And to the angel of the Congregation of Called Out Ones in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. (Revelation 2:8-9)”
The church in their Replacement Theology or should I say displacement theology, claims that they are spiritually Jews. Why is it so important for the counterfeit to constantly refer to the True? Why is it so important for the Church to be identified as New Israel? Because, “salvation is from the Jews. (John 4:22)”
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Revelation 2:10)”
There are those who teach if you going through tribulation there is something wrong with your life but the words says: “We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of Yahweh: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of Yahweh, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. (2 Corinthians 6:3-10)”
We know that we will go through tribulation, distresses, being beat up, put into prison, gossiped about, lied on, accused and through the great the unknown but still we don’t get offended because we are protecting our ministry’s reputation. Remember, “all [men] know that [we] are [our Messiah’s] disciples, if [we] love one another.” We can go through all this because we know: “If Yahweh is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against Yahweh’s elect? It is Yahweh who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Messiah who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of Yahweh, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of Yahweh which is in Messiah YahShua our King. (Romans 8:31-39)”
Yahweh has never promised us that everything would go smoothly. He promised: “…all things work together for good to them that love Yahweh, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)” Not all things were going to be good just work out for our benefit. Here’s the reality – you’re going to have problems. That’s no reason to be discouraged. People that are not “rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17)” and do not know the “exceeding precious promises (2 Peter 1:4)” at the first sign of trouble they are going to through up there hands and declare, “Yahweh is not with me!” And turn their back on the Faith and walk back into paganism. This is exactly what happened to many in the First Century Netzarim Movement.
“And to the angel of the Congregation of Called Out Ones in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where haSatan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Ba’al Olam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. (Revelation 2:12-14)”
Pergamos was a wealthy cosmopolitan city with temples for various pagan deities that were various incantations of the Babylonian Mystery cult. According to Alexander Hislop’s 19th century work, “The Two Babylons,” the mystery cults of Babylon had moved to Pergamos after the death of Belshazzar. The “pontiff” of the Babylonian religion later moved from Pergamos to Rome, when Pergamos became part of the Roman Empire around 133 BCE.
The “doctrine of Ba’al Olam” is the mixing the sacred with the profane – assimilation – both in religion and relationship with Mystery Babylon. It is sexual immoral for a Believer to couple with an unbeliever. “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Messiah with Ba’al? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:14,15)”
“What agreement is there between the Temple of Yahweh and idols? For we are the Temple of the living Elohim. As Yahweh has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their elohim, and they will be my people. (Lev. 26:12; Jer. 32:38; Ezek. 37:27)” “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says Yahweh. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. (Isaiah 52:11; Ezek. 20:34,41)“ “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says Yahweh Almighty.( 2 Samuel 7:14; 7:8)” (2 Corinthians 6:16-18)”
Originally, Ba’al Olam, the Prophet to the World, had been approached by King Balak (empty) to spiritually battle Israel. Ba’al Olam tried to do Yahweh’s bidding. Instead of cursing Israel, like he had been hired to do, he blessed them with the Messianic blessing: “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. (Numbers 24:17,18)”
According to Flavius Josephus: But Balak being very angry that the Israelites were not cursed, sent away Ba’al Olam without thinking him worthy of any honor. Whereupon, when he was just upon his journey, in order to pass the Euphrates, he sent for Balak, and for the princes of the Midianites, and spake thus to them: O Balak, and you Midianites that are here present, it is true no entire destruction can seize upon the nation of the Hebrews, neither by war, nor by plague, nor by scarcity of the fruits of the earth, nor can any other unexpected accident be their entire ruin; for the providence of [Yahweh] is concerned to preserve them from such a misfortune; nor will it permit any such calamity to come upon them whereby they may all perish; but some small misfortunes, and those for a short time, whereby they may appear to be brought low, may still befall them; but after that they will flourish again, to the terror of those that brought those mischiefs upon them. So that if you have a mind to gain a victory over them for a short space of time, you will obtain it by following my directions: Do you therefore set out the handsomest of such of your daughters as are most eminent for beauty, and proper to force and conquer the modesty of those that behold them, and these decked and trimmed to the highest degree able. Then do you send them to be near camp, and give them in charge, that the young men of the Hebrews desire their allow it them; and when they see they are enamored of them, let them take leaves; and if they entreat them to stay, let give their consent till they have persuaded leave off their obedience to their own laws, the worship of that [Yahweh] who established them to worship the gods of the Midianites and for by this means [Yahweh] will be angry at them. Accordingly, when Ba’al Olam had suggested counsel to them, he went his way.
“While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women, who invited them to the sacrifices to their elohim. The people ate and bowed down before these elohim. So Israel joined in worshiping the Ba’al of Peor. And Yahweh’s anger burned against them.
Yahweh said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of these people, kill them and expose them in broad daylight before Yahweh, so that Yahweh’s fierce anger may turn away from Israel.”
So Moses said to Israel’s judges, “Each of you must put to death those of your men who have joined in worshiping the Ba’al of Peor.”
Then an Israelite man brought to his family a Midianite woman right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel while they were weeping at the entrance to the Tabernacle of Meeting. When Pinchas ben Eleazar, the son of A’aron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear through both of them—through the Israelite and into the woman’s body. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped; but those who died in the plague numbered 24,000. (Numbers 25:1-9)”
“Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. (Revelation 2:15)”
In Pergamos lived a sect called the Nicolaitans. The first mention we have of them from the traditional authorities is in the writings of Ignatius who was a disciple of Rabbi Yochannan with Polycarp (30-107 CE). Ignatius is an important Netzarim source because while he was a child, he claimed to have seen Messiah. Ignatius in one of his epistles says: “Flee also the Nicolaitanes, falsely so-called, who are lovers of pleasure and given to slanderous or defamatory speeches.” The Nicolaitanes leader was an apostate of Menander and, therefore, Simon Magus from Antioch of which the Romans embraced.
Ignatius again mentions them in his epistle to the Philadelphians. Ignatius says there that “The Nicolaitan (falsely so-called) sees the end of all as pleasure and sees unlawful unions as a good thing.” The sin of the Nicolaitans is then related to that of Balak and Ba’al Olam with the sons of Israel, as found in the book of Numbers, chapters 22-24. He goes on to indict the Nicolaitans as precursors of the Trinitarians which is idolatry. We have been commanded: “Thus saith Yahweh, Learn not the way of the heathen…(Jeremiah 10:2)”
“Repent, or else I will come to you suddenly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. (Revelation 2:15)”
Divine retribution is meted out according to the principle of “measure for measure” midah k’neged midah, or “measured punishment.” “In measure against measure, when it shall be cast off, thou shalt judge it. (Isaiah 27:8)” Bearing in mind this principle “measure for measure”, there are those at Pergamos, in severe doctrinal error coupled with immorality being committed by specific individuals within the congregation that they’re trying to spiritualize. Messiah YahShua threatens to “correct” these individuals with the (two-edged) sword of the Torah coming from the mouth of “express image of Yahweh.” A correct rendering of the doctrine of “the commandments of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Messiah YahShua (Revelation 12:17)” can conquer the sin of compromise and assimilation.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Called Out Ones. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” (Revelation 2:17)’
“Hidden manna” is promise to the “overcomers” who will one day enter the Kingdom.
“Rabbi. Eleazar taught that in the coming age the righteous shall eat of this manna, but of a much higher quality, a quality which was never seen in this world, as it is written: “To behold the beauty of Yahweh and to visit his Temple” (Psalm 27:4); “Eye hath not seen… what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4). (Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2,Page 63a)”
“Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ (Exodus 16:4; Nehemiah 9:15; Psalm 78:24)”
Then Rebbe YahShua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of Yahweh is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
Then they said to Him, “Yahweh, give us this bread always.”
And Rebbe YahShua said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst…I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” (John 6:31-35, 48-51)”
The “white stone” is also called the precious stone. “This teaches us that Yahweh took a thousandth of its radiance, and from it He constructed a beautiful precious stone. In it He included all the commandments. (Bahir 190)” It is on this stone that in the New Kingdom we receive the rest of Yahweh’s 72 lettered name that before hand only the High Priest could receive.
“And to the angel of the Called Out Ones in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of Yahweh, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allowthat womanJezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduceMy servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. (Revelation 2:18-20)”
Again here is the sin of assimilation this time it is a woman that is leading the congregation into sin like the false teaching or the “whoredom” and “adultery” of Jezebel, who taught the children of Israel to compromised Torah by linking it to that which was not from Yahweh.
“I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of YahShua. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement….the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns…The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. (Revelation 17:1-7,9)”
The Babylonian Mystery Cult is the “MOTHER OF HARLOTS” that would later consolidate in MOTHER CHURCH at Rome, and from her DAUGHTER CHURCHES came out in “protest,” calling themselves “PROTESTANT.” And ALL have to a greater or lesser extent embraced her APOSTACY. “Upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS” (Revelation 17:5). Her daughters are called “harlots.” Together, they are called
“MYSTERY, BABYLON.” They are pagan, teaching pagan doctrines and customs, cloaked in the NAME of “Christianity!” And ALL the NATIONS of the earth are deceived!
“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of theirdeeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the Called Out Ones shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:21-23)”
Rebbe YahShua once again says, “I gave her time to change!” “Christianity” has had 1800 years to change but if “Christianity” does not turn from her pagan ways and turn to the True Faith the Great Tribulation will ravage them. “This is what Yahweh says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ (Jeremiah 6:16)” Because her daughters are called”harlots” will not convert Yahweh says, “I will kill her children with death.” Which will cause a revival of Faith among the Called Out Ones!
“One thing Elohim has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O Elohim, are strong, and that you, O Sovereign, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done. (Psalm 62:11,12)”
“If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done? (Proverbs 24:12)”
“Now to you I say, andto the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of haSatan, as they say, I willput on you no other burden (New Converts – Ger ToShav). But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘ He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels (Psalm 2:96)’— as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Called Out Ones.” (Revelation 2:24-29)’
King Messiah YahShua will give authority over the nations to His faithful Called Out Ones. This would not be possible unless the previous authority – the fallen angel HaSatan, the “deceiver of the nations (Revelation 20:3,8),” “the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2)” – be first removed from his position.
“And to the angel of the Called Out Ones in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of Yahweh and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. (Revelation 3:1)”
That’s not the kind of evaluation you want from our Messiah. The seven spirits that come before Yahweh’s throne are seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of Yahweh, Watchers sent out into all the earth that report back to Messiah. And they have reported to him that the Sardis Congregation claims the name of Yahweh but their Faith is dead.
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Yahweh— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)”
“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has Faith but does not have works? Can Faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have Faith, and I have works.” Show me your Faith without yourworks, and I will show you my Faith by myworks. You believe that there is one Elohim. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:13-21, 25-27)”
Sardis had a problem keeping Torah. They were not grounded in the existing Torah, the “Word of Yahweh,” as well as the “testimony of YahShua.”
“Then [Moses] took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything Yahweh has said; we will do and hear. (Exodus 24:7)”
The Book of Revelation begins with a promise of a blessing to those who “do and hear.” The Hebrew meaning of “doing” or keeping – shamar, to guard, protect, attend, take heed, observe, and preserve, and the Hebrew meaning of “hearing” is shema, to hear with understanding of obedience. But it ends with a curse (Rev. 22:18-19) to those who do not adhere to the Torah, the “Word of Yahweh” revealed in its teachings; if you will not keep the revelation Yahweh’s given you – you are spiritually dead.
“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before Yahweh.Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. (Revelation 3:2,3)”
The Congregation of Called Out Ones at Sardis had first received the Full Messianic Message from the Apostle, Rabbi Sha’ul. Yet by the end of Rabbi Sha’ul life he lamented: “…everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me…(2 Timothy 1:15)” Isn’t that hard to understand. Within 50 years of Rabbi Sha’ul’s ministry at Sardis the Congregation went over to the Dark Side of Mystery Babylon.
“Remember therefore how you have received and heard.” Can you remember when you first came here and received the truth here? “…faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Yahweh. (Romans 10:17)” How when you heard the Truth for the first time how your Faith came alive. Don’t forget that. Don’t walk away from the voice Yahweh used to give the revelation of the One True Faith! I believe there are past member of our Congregation that if King Messiah YahShua came here to night He would say to them, “Remember therefore how you have received and heard.”
Then the Messiah says: “hold fast and repent.” In other words “Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it …choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant…(Isaiah 56:2,4)” and be willing to change and return to the Faith.
“Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Revelation 3:3)”
Once again this passage proves we are talking about End time events.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your King will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (Matthew 24:42-44)”
“Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the Day of Yahweh will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5)”
“Yahweh is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the Day of Yahweh will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives (2 Peter 3:9-11).”
“Youhave a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Called Out Ones.” (Revelation 3:4-6)’
The (white) garments referred in this passage are priestly garments and reflects the importance of being a “hearer and doer” of Torah, as an integral part of keeping the Faith.
“Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a Kingdom of Priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.” So Moses went back and summoned the elders of the people and set before them all the words Yahweh had commanded him to speak. (Exodus 19:5-7)”
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood (Kingdom of Priests), an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).”
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a Kingdom of Priests to serve his Elohim and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amien. (Revelation 1:6)”
“You have made them to be a Kingdom of Priests to serve our Elohim, and they will reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:10)”
“Happy is the portion of whoever is found worthy of those garments wherein the righteous are clad in the Garden of Eden. Those garments are made out of the good deeds performed by a man in this world in obedience to the commands of the Torah. (Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2, Page 210b)”
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. (Daniel 12:2-3)”
“In those days the saints and the chosen shall undergo a change. The light of day shall rest upon them, and the splendor and glory of the saints shall be changed. (Enoch 49:1)”
“The saints and the elects have arisen from the earth, have left off to depress their countenances, and have been clothed with the garment of life. That garment of life is with the Yahweh Tzeveot, in whose presence your garment shall not grow old, nor your glory diminish. (Enoch 62:18)”
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands… And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Adon, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:9,13-14)”
As priest, if we will keep the Faith like A’aron who, “enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastplate of decision as a continuing memorial before Yahweh. (Exodus 28:29)” And he will never blot out the “names…written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)”
“And to the angel of the Called Out Ones in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it;for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. (Revelation 3:7-8)”
In contrast to the congregation at Sardis, the Congregation at Philadelphia has kept the Torah, which is directly linked to the Sacred Name. “Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it…Who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the name of Yahweh, to be His servants (Isaiah 56:2,6).”
“Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of haSatan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. (Revelation 3:9)”
The church claims that they are spiritually Jews. The Church loves to quote: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 King James Version)”
“But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:29 King James Version)”
The Church interprets Romans 11:16-27, as Rabbi Sha’ul explaining that Israel, namely the Jews, to whom salvation belonged, were broken off because of “unbelief in Jesus.” Gentiles were grafted in their place because they “believed in Jesus.” But once grafted in, they were no longer Gentiles — “Being in times past Gentiles in the flesh,” (Ephesians 2:11). Now they were all “one in Christ Jesus,” “no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the Christian saints,” (Ephesians 2:19), the New Jew. So the church made up of Gentiles, claiming the Birthright, claiming salvation, claiming to be Jews inwardly, masquerading as a “Christian” church, became the very synagogue of Satan, the apostate church which developed after 70 CE.
The Church’s theology of displacing Israel and super-imposing the religion of Mystery Babylon in its stead is a blatant lie and a doctrine of the Devil. “And all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH (Revelation 21:8). We cannot afford to “…depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1).”
If you have ever felt discouraged because of your Faith; if were ever given a hard time because of your belief; if you have ever had troubles because you chose to obey Yahweh, know this, eventually, if we “contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints (Jude 1:3)” we shall live to see “every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to Yahweh (Romans 14:11)” before us. And “Because [we love Yahweh],” Yahweh says, “I will rescue [them]; I will protect [them], for [they] acknowledges My name. [They] will call upon Me, and I will answer [them]; I will be with [them] in trouble, I will deliver [them] and honor [them]. With long life will I satisfy [them] and show [them] My YahShua (salvation). (Psalm 91:14-16)” He has always loved us.
“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments Torah. He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments Torah, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keeps his word Torah, in him verily is the love of Yahweh perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. (1 John 2:3-5)”
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial (the hour of trial or temptation is when the world will have to choose between life and death, blessing and cursing, Messiah and Moshiach Neged – the Anti-Christ and His Mark) which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold,I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. (Revelation 3:10,11)”
“I…will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world.” Here is another passage that promises to keep safe the True Believers in the wilderness at a place He has prepared – namely Petra.
“But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will gain life. When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. (Luke 21:18-20)”
“Behold,I am coming quickly!” “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)” This covers spiritual protection and physical salvation. “Here is endurance of the saints: here [are] those keeping the commands of Yahweh, and the faith of YahShua. (Revelation 14:12)”
We have been commanded to watch. Do not be like the cynical spectator that says: “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation. (2 Peter 3:4)” Just as you can smell the rain and see the clouds before the rains come, so we can sense the parousia – the Sacred Presence – so we know Messiah is on His way!
“Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” I am tragically amazed of how little it takes to derail some people over something that a fellow Believer did. The threat of leaving a fellowship or congregation is spiritual extortion. If a minister is worth his salt, he will ignore the threat and preach what Yahweh is giving him to preach. Or else he and the extortionist is in danger of loosing their eternal crown. Why would we let another person rob our crown? Don’t let any human being take that away. “…if (you see) someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the Torah of Messiah. If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. (everyone is expendable) Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load. (Galatians 6:1-6)” As Yahweh has promised: “I will judge each of you according to his own ways. (Ezekiel 33:20 )”
“In the world to come … the righteous will sit, with their crowns on their heads, delighting in the radiance of the Shekinah. (Berakhot 17a)”
“Rabbi Shimon ben Yohai learnt: ‘There are three crowns: the crown of Torah, the crown of priesthood, and the crown of royalty. Aaron merited the crown of priesthood and received it; David merited the crown of royalty and received it. As for the crown of Torah, it lies unappropriated for the generations. If one attains [the crown of] Torah, it is as though he attained all three; if one does not attain [the crown of] Torah, it is as though he has attained none of them.’ (Midrash Rabbah – Ecclesiastes 7:2)”
“Happy are ye, O righteous, who observe the Torah; happy are they who are persistent in the study of the Torah, inasmuch as the joy of your Master is in you and the crown of your Master is fashioned by you. (Zohar, Shemoth, Section 2, Page 211a)”
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My Elohim. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Called Out Ones.” (Revelation 3:12,13)’
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more.” The House of Yahweh at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah “where Yahweh appeared unto David… he reared up the ‘Pillars’ before the Temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin (to establish signifying mercy), and the name of that on the left Boaz (Strength or justice). (2 Chronicles 3: 1,17 and 1 Kings 7; 21);
It was through these two pillars that the priests had to pass through to get to the Holy Place. The one on the south side representing Judah and was to be called Boaz, just as David was a descendant of Boaz and Ruth, and a Lion of the Tribe of Judah and held the scepter of justice. While Jachin was the high priest who assisted in the dedication of Solomon’s Temple, and his name meant “to establish” and unite the people under the merciful banner of love. For it was the job of the priest to intercede for the Commonwealth of Israel.
So, this passage in the Book of Revelation is speaking of the harmonious restoration of the “pillars” of the Faith – the judicial and priestly houses of Israel.
“I will write on him the name of My Elohim…” The name Israel, though we love it and Yahweh gave it, has become a byword used in derision by both the World and the Church. Messiah will give us, as pillars of the Faith, a “new name” with the establishment of New Jerusalem, capital city of New Zion: “Even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give theman everlasting name hat shall not be cut off. (Isaiah 56:5)”
“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of Yahweh will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in Yahweh’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your Elohim. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Chephzibah (My Darling), and your land Ba’alulah (the land of my Husband); for Yahweh will take delight in you, and your land will be married. (Isaiah 62:1-4)” Add to this the name of Yahweh for the Bride always takes on the name of her husband.
“And to the angel of the Called Out Ones of the Laodiceanswrite, ‘These things says the Amien, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of Yahweh: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot,I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:14-19)”
Arrogant Laodicea represents all of Ephraim for the Messiah uses the same language to challenge them as the Prophet Hosea did: “…Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin. (Hosea 12:8)” Ephraim was guilty of setting up a counterfeit faith which is the sin of Babel – “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens (a towering temple), so that we may make a name for ourselves and (So Yahweh is intimidated into ) not be scattered over the face of the whole earth (Genesis 11:4)” It had remnants of the “True Faith” with a temple, priesthood, sacrifices and liturgy but it was not what Yahweh had ordained in Torah. Their Holy Days were moved to more convenient days; they incorporated the “calf worship” of Mystery Babylon; their priesthood was democratically elected from the representative tribes and they dared build a new temple outside of Jerusalem.
“Blessed is he…that loves the name (of Yahweh). (Isaiah 56:2,6)”Our spiritual potency is attached to how much passion we have for the name of Yahweh. “…the prophet said of the Days of Messiah: ‘On that day, He will be One, and His Name will be One. (Zechariah 14:9)’ At the end of Parsha Beshallach Rashi reveals to us that it is (the Spirit of) Amalek’s wish and drive to keep the Names divided (so that it cannot be pronounced) (Exodus 17:16). At the end of Parsha Ki Saitzai Rashi reveals to us how he does this: ‘He made you cold and lukewarm after you had been boiling. For, all the nations were afraid to war against you and this one came and led the way for others. It is like a boiling hot bath into which no living being could enter, until a wild person came and jumped into it. Although he scalded himself he made it cooler for others.’ (Rashi, Deuteronomy 25:18) (Israel Challenge – In God’s Land Already, Rabbi Pinchas Winston)”
“I counsel you to buy from Me…” Our Faith is from Yahweh. We must go to Him to receive our revelation. And it cost something. I hear a lot about salvation being a free gift and it is not – it costs you everything – your whole life! But you get a great return on your investment.
“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. (John 12:24-26)”
“Buy from Me gold refined in the fire…” Gold in the Scriptures signifies holiness. We must go to Yahweh and surrender our life to Him and allow Him to try us and purge us from all impurities and allow his holiness to ascend.
“And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross. (Isaiah 1:25)”
“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Messiah YahShua: Whom having not seen, ye love; in Whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the goal of your Faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:7-9)”
“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:21-22)”
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see Yahweh. (Matthew 5:8)”
“Buy from Me… white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed.” Again we are talking about priestly garments but in this case it denotes that we must come to Yahweh and give ourselves wholly to Him to become His priests.
“Let thy garments be always white; and let not thy head lack oil. (Ecclesiastes 9:8)”
“Anoint your eyes with eye salve…” We must anoint our eyes with the Balm of Gilead so that we can see our Messiah: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Called Out Ones.” (Revelation 3:20-22)”
In Revelation 22:6,7: “The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. Yahweh, the Elohim of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place. Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.”
Even in the midst of these wonderful experience, Rabbi Yochannan endeavors to worship the angel: “I, Yochannan, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship Yahweh!” (Revelation 22:8,9)”
We must be about preaching this “restoration” message to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. “Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Aleph and the Tauv, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:10-13)”
The time of the resitution of all things is at hand! “The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. (Romans 13:11)” It is time to wake up.
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)”
Then after warning against changing the word of Yahweh in Revelation 22:18,19 He finishes with this: “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amien. Even so, come, King YahShua. The grace of our King Messiah YahShua be with you all. Amien. (Revelation 22:20)”
So be it!

A great restoration is taking place today, and I want to invite all of you to be part of it. Congregations and home groups are meeting all over the world, in places like Belgium, Australia, Brazil etc. If you have a Nazarene Congregation or home study please let us know, so we can all be connected.
The NazareneSpace Social Network is also great place to stay connected!
It was during this time in the 1980’s that I had a dream which I recorded in a journal I was keeping at the time. The following is taken from that journal:
In my dream I was rebuilding the ruins of an ancient stone alter.
As I finished rebuilding this alter, it shined with a great light so bright that I
could not look directly at it, brighter than the sun. I turned around
and saw several shafts of blue light shining down out of heaven. It was
shear beauty like I had never seen. Behind me was the Messianic
Synagogue I was attending at the time. I ran inside to tell all of my
friends in the synagogue about what I had seen, but most of them seemed
disinterested, and only a few were willing to come outside and see what I
had seen.
Well I had no idea then how completely this dream would one day be fulfilled. Looking back, I know now that the ancient stone alter in ruins was Nazarene Judaism, and “rebuilding” it represented this work of restoration.
In the months that followed I studied everything I could to help me understand the so-called “New Testament” as a Jewish book. I learned that the original followers of Yeshua were an ancient sect of Jews called “Nazarenes”. I found several references to these “Nazarenes” in the writings of the so-called “Church Fathers”. I realized that I was a Nazarene Jew. I discovered that the ancient Nazarenes used a Hebrew and Aramaic “New Testament” (better called the “Ketuvim Netzarim” or “Writings of the Nazarenes” and I began the decades long work on recovering the original Hebrew and Aramaic texts of these books. I also found that the books know as the “Apocrypha” are Jewish, not Catholic.
By the late 1980’a I began teaching the restoration of Nazarene Judaism and found this was resonating with many others, and a resurgence of Nazarene Judaism was born.
The truths of Nazarene Judaism have always been in the Scriptures waiting to be discovered. We are living in a truly exciting age. Elohim is going to reward us with even more wisdom, knowledge and understanding concerning his plan for us as believers, as well as for the people of this world. We have been called not only to understand who we are (Nazarenes), where we are going, but we are also chosen to realize the responsibilities that Elohim has placed on us. We are His people and YHWH wishes all of us to have a partnership in bring both Torah and Messiah to the world. We at the WNAE are doing our part (and I believe Elohim is pleased with our efforts—yours and mine). Let us keep up the good work, and Elohim, I truly believe will reward us abundantly.
Just a few days ago, our largest supporter informed us that their business has been doing poorly and that they would have to substantially cut back their support. We have barely been keeping the bills paid as it is, and we have to find a way to bring in more donations to make up for this loss. If you can step up to the plate and donate, please consider doing so!
I want to thank all of you supporting this work. I literally could not do it without you!
This work takes hours of my time. As many of you know, my wife is very ill, and I spend most of my time at home as her caretaker. I work at a desk less than six feet from her bed. So I am in a position to dedicate many hours to this important work that I have been directed to do.
But I also realize that it is not the activity of James Trimm alone who is responsible to do this work, it is all of us together who are charged with the responsibility of accomplishing this work. I very much look on the efforts of this restoration work as a cooperative one with each one of you. We are all joint heirs with Messiah and should always be about our Father’s business. I am honored to be able to be partnered with truth seekers as this restoration of Scripture moves forward in fulfillment of prophecy.
