Nazarene Space

I seem to have made a lot of people on both sides very angry by accepting the Messiah without giving up my Jewishness.  It seems that there are many out there that are very uncomfortable with this.  There are people are not satisfied by the idea that I accept Yeshua as the Messiah, they want me to be a Christian or even a Gentile.  These people dont want me to accept Yeshua as the Messiah unless I am going to renounce everything having to do with Judaism.  So let me say this very clearly:  Yeshua did not come to create a new religion, he came to be the Jewish Messiah of JUDAISM.  I will continue to practice Judaism.  If anyone wants to join me... I can be found at here at Nazarene Space proclaiming the truth of Torah and Messiah as JUDAISM.  The more the merrier:-)

HaSatan wishes "to steal and to kill and to destroy" (Jn. 10:10) and he knows the time is short and has stepped up his war with those who proclaim both Torah Observance and Faith in Messiah (the two pillars of Nazarene Judaism) (Rev. 12:12, 17; 13:7). But no weapon forged against us will prosper (Is. 54:17).

We really need our supporters to step up to the plate this week.

Please help us bring the message of Torah and Messiah to a lost world and create Scripture study materials for believers. Folks we REALLY need you to step up to the plate now more than ever! We are struggling to keep our home (Click Here to find out more)

I was thinking once we acept Yahshua and come to understand Yah is Yahshua in the flesh we don't claim irish or jewish we just become children of Yah .

i think the christain are wrong in most of their teachings buit to be all jewish isn't right either because they got problems from my understanding they follow a lot of mans ways rabis habits rule then their rules /laws then the Yah's rules , sounds a lot like the church just under a difference title , i am not sure i think we are to follow Torah and be like Yah was He was in the flesh. i love the hebrew people for keeping Torah and the language. The Jewish people have done a lot but they don't have the perfect way so i think we most turn from the system we live in or under, kinda any way . Yeshua  was always at odds with the lleaders of the Day i am thinking you are all about following Yahshua. I am thinking one new man the Torah written on my heart living in me always lighting my way so i can take on his Yoke. i am happy you found the way. blessing to you and yours

Actually Yeshua said "salvation is of the Jews" (Jn. 4:22)

The idea that Yahsuah came to establish a new religion is found with both no-law Christians and orthodox jews, and is the source of the hostility. You can often find rabbis and jewish scholars stressing rather aggressively that the notions of Paul and the gospels are Hellenistic and absolutely not jewish. This outdated idea is however also loosing ground in secular academia - see these interesting book reviews:

"(..) The intrinsic Jewishness of the New Testament—and that
of its two prime figures, Jesus and Paul—has long been obscured
because of two simultaneous and linked accidents of history: the rise
of Gentile Christianity and of Rabbinic Judaism. As with Gentile Christianity,

so with Rabbinic Judaism: both asserted, very loudly, that though Jesus may

have been a Jew, he was a special sort of anti-Jew. (..)"

I, too, am an Israelite, and a former Xtian.  But Jews today should remember the words of Paul:

14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Master Yahshua Messiah, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of Elohim. (Gal 6)

What counts is being FIRST a new creation of the Ruach Ha Qodesh.  After being regenerated by the Set-apart Spirit, we are considered to be "children of Abraham" and "Israelites" and "Yahudim".  As such, we love YHWH in the Spirit and keep His Torah and Messiah's commandments.

So, "keeping my Jewishness" is ok and good as long as the traditions coincide with what the Scriptures say in the Torah, the Tanakh and the New Testament.

Keeping all of the extra-biblical traditions and teaching them to others is placing a yoke on the neck of other believers that neither we nor our fathers were able to bear.
