We are Home! - Update on our Son Status

We are home by Elohim's grace. Jacob (our son) was released late this afternoon. Here is what is currently happening.

The two blood panels that they were concerned about one being the cardiac enzymes was ran again this morning, as well as another sonogram of his heart. One of the blood panels (I cannot remember what blood work for that is called) was back to normal. The cardiac enzymes blood work was still high but slowly is starting to drop.

They believe that his heart was attacked by a virus. It is like a "flu" that has attacked his heart and like the "flu" that you get it will take time to recover from. Where as a "flu" would take a few weeks, this will take months to heal from. Here is the catch. Jacob has an appointment on June 30 to take test again (EKG, Blood Work and another Sonogram) then see the cardiologist. As long as those numbers do not go back up from the normal blood work, and the cardiac enzymes do not go back up and continue to go down then he will make a full recovery in time.

If that does not happen they say this is either a virus that they cannot treat at this time or his own immune system attacking his heart. Which means he will have to see a cardiologist for the rest of his life. The latter situation would be a very bad thing.

As for the sugar in his urine that was found again in the ER, the cardiologist does not believe that has anything to do with his heart situation. We are going to have to contact the kidney disease doctor again to have him run more extensive tests. I am myself not convinced that the sugar in the urine and his heart problems are not related but we will shall see.

The cardiologist sent off cultures to see if they can confirm this is a virus but that will be about 10 days out for any results if there are any.

So in summary, we are praying that this is a virus that is curable and that in a few months he will be completely healed. That would be the best outcome. We are to call the cardiologist if he has minor pain and if he has persistent pain or moderate or higher pain we are to return to the hospital immediately. So please continue to pray for us and especially him.

If anything changes before we go back to the doctor on June 30th we will let you know. He is supposed to be as in the doctor's words "a couch potato" and "no stress" for the next week. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask and we will try to answer.

I will be praying that Jacob's heart problem is a curable virus, that he gets lots of rest, and that things return to normal for your family very soon. At the age of 30 I am heaving heart issues as well, i have recently in the past year found out I am having heart issues because of my diabetes. We will continue praying to Jacob, and your family Kitty. Your family and James are huge blessings to all of us, James' messages have helped me learn in my faith, and I really appreciate all of you, and I know Yahweh will bring a total healing to Jacob.

Adonai was with me the whole way and today I feel better than ever (giving up whiskey and tobacco altogether) God will see him through. No doubt in my mind.

I do want you to know that my family discovered a lot of this about 3 to 4 years ago and we do not eat a lot of that bad stuff. Case in point soda was cut out of our home about two years ago and it is only on a rare occasion that it consumed outside our home. This is a rule of our home for my children. About a year ago now we switched to eating whole grains and more organic fruits and veggies as well as meats. I just recently started my son drinking cranberry juice which has a lot of magnesium in it as that is what I have been doing for years now myself, but it seems like my whole family needs to be on it considering. I wanted you to know though that any info that people send I am more the willing to look at and consider, but in this case it was nice to see and again much appreciated!! Thank you!
