No it just shows that Protestantism has failed because it did not protest paganism, Protestantism and Catholicism are both keeping X-mess and Easter. Protestantism was a move in the right direction, but it was a failed movement.

Christmas and Easter were predominantly uncelebrated in the early years of America's foundation, as they were rightly recognized as Roman Catholic holidays.
