According to DuTillet Hebrew Matthew, the Mashiach’s name in Hebrew sometime is spelled as Yeshu יֵשׁוּ, which is the name Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ missing the ע.

The gematria of Yeshua is 386, whereas Yeshu without the ayin is 316.

What is the significance?

Examination 1:

Let’s examine Isaiah 53:4 where it says:

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

אָכֵן חֳלָיֵנוּ הוּא נָשָׂא וּמַכְאֹבֵינוּ סְבָלָם וַאֲנַחְנוּ חֲשַׁבְנֻהוּ נָגוּעַ מֻכֵּה אֱלֹהִים וּמְעֻנֶּֽה׃

Now the word נָגוּעַ which means “smitten” is unique, in that the root word is נָגַע which has been mentioned by Sefer Yetzirah as: “There is no good higher than pleasure (oneg) and no evil lower than a plague (nega).”

Oneg is spelled עֹנֶג ,which means “pleasure” and especially the pleasure as it relates to Shabbat;

Nega is spelled נָגַע, which means “plague” especially that of leprosy.

These two words are of the same three letters arranged in different order, with a numerical value of 123.

123 is also the gematria for the phrase  יְחִי הַמֶּלֶךְ, meaning “long live the King” which appeared in TeNaKh exactly 7 times, which alludes to Mashicah the King.

So the “plague” is in essence our current state in desperate need of redemption, whereas the “pleasure” is the promise of the world to come, with the weekly Shabbat  as the 1/60th foretaste of that promise.

King Mashiach obviously is the key that is able to transform from Nega to Oneg, bringing us back to Gan Eden, the paradise.

With this background, let’s examine the “secret” contained in this word: נָגוּעַ , which has a gematria of 139.

One of the common Kabbalistic methods in revealing secret is called “Atbash” אתבש which is based on the following Atbash chart:

א

ת

ב

ש

ג

ר

ד

ק

ה

צ

ו

פ

ז

ע

ח

ס

ט

נ

י

Now if we would examine the atbash of Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ, we would transform the four letters based on above chart to: מבפז, which has a gematria of 129, exactly that of “stricken” in Isaiah’s prophecy as quoted.

Examination 2:

Let’s go back to Isaiah 53:4 again. There are apparently 6 words that are used to describe this suffering servant and what he has done for us. Let’s summarize these 6 words with their gematria as follows:

104

חֳלָיֵנוּ

our grief

135

וּמַכְאֹבֵינוּ

our sorrows

132

סְבָלָם

carry, burden,

129

נָגוּעַ

stricken

65

 מֻכֵּה

smitten

171

וּמְעֻנֶּֽה

afflicted

736

There are in total 29 letters in the above 6 words, corresponding to the 29 appearances of the name Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ) in TeNaKah which is Strong number H3091.

What is the significance of the number 736?

736 is exactly the gematria of the phrase: Lord Yeshua HaNotzri:

אֲדֹנָי יֵשׁוּ הנצרי

Note: the phrase Yeshu HaNotzri is quoted from DuTillet Hebrew Matthew 26:71.

Adding 1 to 736 as a Kollel is a typical Kabblistic method, we now have a new number 737 which is exactly the gematria of the phrase: God of Avrham, God of Yitzchak, and God of Yaakov which appear both in Torah as well as in Amidah prayer:

אֶל אַבְרָהָם אֶל יִצְחָק וְאֶל יַעֲקֹב

Now let’s go back to the entire verse and examine the total gematria of the 12 words in Isaiah 54:3.

אָכֵן

וּמְעֻנֶּֽה

1748

1748 is the product of 76 times 23.

76 is the gematria of servant עֶבֶד,

23 is the gematria of the first man when he was created as a living “soul” in Gen 2:7: חַיָּֽה  which in Kabbalah term refers to the 2nd highest level of soul Chaiyah, the living one. This is also according to Jewish traditions the name of Chavah (חַוָּה) representing the quintessential bride before she sins. The difference between the two names is the letter Yod descended down to the level of Vav after the sin.

So what’s the message here?

God incarnated in the form of a servant to bear and cleanse the sin of the bride, so that she can be elevated from the current level of Vav back to the level of Yod, her original source, hinting at the reverse flow of the holy name:

י-ה-ו-ה

Examination 3:

According to Jewish traditions, one of the many names of the Mashiach is called: מְנַחֵם meaning “comforter”. This name appeared 15 times in TeNaKh, alluding to the name of Yah.

Another name of the Mashiach that has the same gematria is called: צֶמַח , meaning “branch”. This name appeared 8 times in TeNaKh, alluding to the resurrection of the dead and Olam HaBa.

This is further confirmed by a Jewish tradition about the Chanukah dreidel having four letters on the four sides:  נ, ג, ה,ש, which are the initials of the phrase:  נֵס גָדֹול הָיָה שָׁם, meaning “ a great miracle happened there”. In the land of Israel, however, the four letters are changed to: פ, ג, ה,ש  for a different phrase: נֵס גָדֹול הָיָה פֹּה meaning “ a great miracle happened here”. The gematria for the four letters outside of Israel is 358, same gematria for Mashiach, while the the four letters inside of Israel is 138, the exact number for the secret name of Mashiach.

To “decode” this secret name, we need to examine another letter transformation method commonly used in Kabbalah, which is called Achbi in accordance with the following chart.

Achbi Chart

Now if we would transpose the name of Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ according to Achbi as above, we would transform the four letters based on above chart to: במוץ , which has a gematria of 138, exactly the gematria of the secret name of Mashiach according to Jewish traditions.

*                       *                                *

Why there are two spellings for the name of Mashiach in DuTillet Hebrew Matthew?

I’m offering the following interpretations.

The letter in question is Ayin, which has a gematria of 70.

70 is the number of the nations, or the “non-Jews” according to Jewish traditions and written Torah: The 70 nations that were dispersed after the flood and the 70 offerings on Sukkot, etc.

The mission of Israel is “light to the nations” which was mentioned three times in the Book of Isaiah.

The Hebrew in Isaiah 42:6 is:  לְאֹור גֹּויִֽם, the gematria is 296.

Same phrase appeared in Isaiah 49:6.

The 3rd time it appeared in Isaiah 60:3 in a reverse order for the two words, plus the addition of chaf sofit: גֹויִם לְאֹורֵךְ

The 3 times occurrences of the “concept” is 296 x 3 = 888, the number of Mashiach, the number of Olam HaBa.

The 3rd time appearance has a gematria of 316, corresponding to Mashiach Yeshu יֵשׁוּ without the ayin.

So the name of Mashiach less 70 is to give “light to the nations”.

In this week’s Parshat Vayigash, we study the story of  Yosef revealing himself to Yehudah and his brothers. This is the foreshadow of Yeshu the Mashiach revealing himself to Yehudah the Jewish people at the end of exile, when Yehudah repents. The climax is at that precise moment when Yosef says: “I’m Yosef, is my father still alive” (Gen 45:3). According to the Rabbis, this is liken to God revealing Himself to every Jewish people at the end of time saying: I am HaShem.

The Hebrew word of this phrase is: אֲנִי יוֹסֵף,הַעוֹד אָבִי חָי

The gematria is 333, the exact number for “Yeshu is God with us” ישו עִמָּנוּ אֵֽל , and the light of Chanukah(נֵר חֲנֻכָּה) as explained elsewhere.

Now when Yaakov was revealed of the secret of Yosef, he said: Yosef my son is still alive (Gen 45:28), which in Hebrew is: עוֹד-יוֹסֵף בְּנִי חָי

The gematria of this phrase is 316, the same exact number of the name of Mashiach in DuTillet Hebrew Matthew, Yeshu ישו

Which is the same exact gematria of the “tree of Yosef”( עֵץ יוֹסֵף) in this week’s haftarah Ezekiel 37:19. The tree of Yosef brings the House of Yehudah and the House of Yosef back into one fold.

Yeshu is the “secret” to bring about the Echad of the estranged Jewish people and the believers of Yeshu.

The gematria of “behold a virgin shall conceive” הִנֵּה הָעַלְמָה הָרָה is 420, which is the same numerical value of the initials of the first verse in DuTillet Matthew:

אלא תולדות ישו בן דוד בן אברהם:

These are the genealogy of Yeshu son of David, son of Abraham.

Going back to the Atbash method described above, let’s examine the Atabash of Isaiah’s prophecy: a virgin shall conceive(Isaiah 7:14):

Original word: הִנֵּה הָעַלְמָה הָרָה

Atbash: צ-ט-צ צ-ז-כ-י-צ צ-ג-צ

The gematria of this atbash (encoded message) is 589.

What is the significance of 589?

Let’s go back to the haftarah where the “tree of Yosef” is portrayed as the healing of the rift between the two estranged camps of God, and God will make them into “one tree”.

The Hebrew for this “one tree” is found in Ezekiel 37:19

לְעֵץ אֶחָד

The gematria is 203, which when added to the name of Yeshua ישוע, is exactly 589, the hidden message in Isaiah’s prophecy: “that the virgin shall conceive”.

Note here we’re using the other spelling of Yeshu, which essentially has the letter ע added back to the name, which was given to the nations (70).

The “tree” of Yosef is made of two leters: עֵץ.

What is the secret of the “tree of Yosef”? This in Christian term is the cross, which is also called a tree.

By suffering from the tree ץ , or the Tzadik sofit, Yeshua gives away the Ayin ע  to the nations, making him the humble or the humiliated Tzadikצ that fulfills the will of God. According to Jewish traditions, the suffering Tzadki has atoning power for the sins of the generation.

Now the tree, or the cross in this case is ץ, which has a numerical value of 90, which is the power of the cross in Christian term. If we add this 90 back to the Atbash above which already has 6 ץ, we increase the number from 589 to 679 which reveals another deeper message of “behold a virgin shall conceive”.

What is the significant of number 679?

This is exactly the gematria of the phrase, Yeshu is the Mashiach.
