Just What is "The Vision"?
By
James Scott Trimm

In recent articles I have spoken regularly of "the vision" and "keeping the vision alive".  Some have asked just what I mean by "The Vision".

By "The Vision" I refer to the vision YHWH has given me for a restoration of the anceint sect of Nazarene Judaism.  In Romans we read:

17 And if some branches were broken off, and you who are a wild olive [tree], were
grafted into their place and became partakers of the root and of the oil of the olive [tree],
18 Do not boast against the [natural] branches. But if you boast, you are not bearing the
root, but the root bears you!
19 And perhaps you should say of the branches that were broken off, I will be grafted in
their place.
20 These [matters] are beautiful. They were broken off because they did not have trust,
but you stand, by trust. Do not be exalted in your mind, but fear:
21 For if Eloah did not spare the natural branches, perhaps He will also not spare you.
22 See then the gentleness and the harshness of Eloah: upon those who fell, harshness,
but upon you, gentleness, if, you remain in the gentleness. And if not, you will also be
broken off.
23 And those, if they do not remain in their lack of trust, also will be grafted in: for Eloah
is able to graft them in again.
24 For if you, who are from the olive [tree] that was wild by your nature, were cut off and
were grafted--contrary to your nature--into the good olive [tree], how much more then,
those, if they be grafted in their natural olive [tree]?
(Rom. 11:17-24 HRV)

Now many of you have heard and read various teachings about the wild branches being grafted into the cultivated olive tree.  But we have moved onto the next stage in this prophecy, concerning the natural branches being grafted back into their own olive tree.  Just a few verses above, Paul writes:

11 Now I say, Have they stumbled so as to fall? Absolutely not! But in their stumbling,
life has come to the Goyim; for their jealousy.
12 And if their stumbling became riches for the world, and their loss, riches to the
Goyim: how much more therefore, their fullness?
(Rom. 11:11-12 HRV)

Our vision relates, not only to the wild branches being grafted into the cultivated olive tree, but of the natural branches being grafted into their own olive tree.  Paul tells us that if you thought there was a blessing in the wild branches being grafted in, just wait until you see what happens when the natural branches are grafted into their natural olive tree, to be fed by their natural root.

What is our vision?

It is a vision of Jewish people embracing Yeshua, not as the creator of a new and different religion from Judaism, but as the Jewish Messiah of Judaism.  It is a vision of Jewish people sitting in a beit midrash or synagogue and studying the words of the Messiah in the original Hebrew and Aramaic with a Jewish understanding and with Jewish methods of interpretation, shedding new light not only on the Tanak but on the Talmud, the Midrashim, the Zohar and even the Dead Sea Scrolls as well.

Now it is important to make it clear that the Talmud itself states plainly that Talmud, the Midrashim and the Zohar are not "inspired":

"Our Rabbis taught: Since the death of the last prophets,
Haggai, Zechariah and Malachai, the Holy Spirit departed from Israel."
(b.San. 11a)

While these books claim no inspiration, they do however record the discussions of the Jewish sages on the topics  they discuss, and any student of these books would be thrilled to have the opportunity to study them in light of the words of the Messiah, giving correction and better understanding to the topics discussed therein.

This is also a vision of Gentiles and Ephraimites who have a Gentile identity taking hold of the tzitzit of such Jews and saying, "I have heard that Elohim is with you and I will go with you." (Zech. 8:23) as they head to the call to come out of Babylon and to be grafted into the House of Judah.

If this is also your vision, then I invite you to join us, help us keep this vision alive.

Help us keep the vision alive!

I always enjoy the beauty of the  Words of God, and  the Stories about   the Olive Tree, in its many forms.

To keep it simple, I always like simple; Gods plan is simple, if we don't look beyond the mark.   The Story of the Olive Tree, is kin to the House of Isreal, and shows Gods  great plan  and his  tremedous love for his chosen people. At times  different Tribes of the House of Isreal has been become separted from God, because of their Pride. God said he would scatter the House of  Isreal, to bless the World,  in his choosen peoples  process of purificatin, so has  scattered them  many times. God has taken off wood and grafted it onto trees scrattered arouind the world, and grafted in wild wood, to save the root, that seems to be the Gentile  Nations ? Anyway, it seems that  now, God is calling his people home, he is gathering that wood hidden, now in the process of grafting  it back into the orignal roots.
