Firstly, I'd like to say that it's all too common for a person in this walk to want to hit the accelerator and just power out of their current corrosive non-believing environment. The truth is that if we do this, sometimes we might be walking away from a custom-made object lesson that the Almighty has prepared for us. Sometimes it is better to stay and weather the storm, if for no other sake than for the spiritual well-being of a spouse that has become a foreign object.
A…

There is a dire need within two ancient communities, one easily recognised and the other not so, to come together in open dialogue, not necessarily to convince the other of an argument, but show each their true identity. This chapter, entitled, In Defence of Chabad is a bold step forward to this end. Before I embark on this endeavour, the identity of this author, in regard to his religious affiliation should be thoroughly laid upon the table to be scrutinised, lest he be accused of…

Talk to most people today about Messiah and many will tell you he came to bring peace and goodwill to all men. Yet when we read Scripture, especially Scripture that specifically addresses King Messiah Yahshua’s mission we get another story entirely. “I have come to set fire upon the earth; and how I wish it…

In the Torah portion of Vayechi (He Lived) the patriarch Jacob, now nearing the end of his days, calls for a final audience with all his sons. He blesses Joseph's two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, elevating them as progenitors of tribes within the nation of Israel and assigns each other son his role as a…

Matthew 6:6; “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Many times in Rabbi Yahshua’s ministry we find him removed from people, in a quiet solitary place, alone with YHWH deeply immersed in concentrative prayer.
Luke 5:16; “But Yahshua often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Luke 6:12; “It was at this time that He…

Shalom,
Just one or two other things.
Did you know that....
Man-made traditions are solidified within the very fabric of the Scriptures?
Take for example the decree by Mordechi to celebrate Purim. This was a man-made tradition that became accepted as a Yah-breathed object lesson. In fact any teaching, decree or practice that is not mentioned specifically in the Torah is an example of either a venerable tradition or a commandment…

Shalom Natsarim Diaspora,
Just to clarify some things that came up in the Psalms series last week, I thought it appropriate to send this information.
Yahshua was a rabbi. John 13:13’ "You call me 'Rabbi' and 'lord’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.”
In his day, Yahshua emphatically endorsed all the teachings of the rabbinic movement according to Matthew 23:2; “"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moshe’s'…

Psalm (Tehillah) 24

This information is compiled predominantly from an anthology of Orthodox Jewish commentary, written and arranged by Rabbi Avroham Chaim Feuer from the Artscroll Tanach Series Tehillim Volume 1. Some of the original text has been modified and expanded to include reference to Yahshua HaMoshiach. This and other additional material has been added for a Nazarene Israelite…
