Tithing: Christian vs Jewish Views!
There's a conflict between how modern day Christians and Judaism teach tithing. Some Christians teach tithing is "Old Testament" and no longer mandated. Others teach it is still required, but those that do teach it much different than Judaism. Among the differences:
Judaism teaches it only applies to the strict description of Torah; which is kosher livestock (not unkosher animals like pigs) and crops grown in Israel (but not crops…

Top Ten Ways Woodstock was like Mt. Sinai
This is a repost from "Bangitout.com" (Kosher comedy community). So funny I just had to share:
10. 600,000 people experienced both in the middle of nowhere
9. Both took place at Beth El
8. Both had people claiming to hear "God", except at one they were referring to Hendrix
7. God put on a much better psychedelic laser light show, sans the Grateful Dead
6. A nation was born (or at…

Millennial reign
Current mood: grateful
Category: Religion and Philosophy
Hello beloved's!
I was surprized the other day to find some (mostly) likeminded beleivers here in the sticks.
Beleivers in Torah and Sabbath, however a matter of concern was a non-belief in the millenial reign of Yashua (Christ).
Every scripture I have studied makes crystal clear that the (thousand year) reign will take place on earth just following tribulation, and the…

Paul is almost certainly the most misunderstood author in the Scriptures. Finally, there is a book that sets straight many of the misunderstandings of Paul, even some of those circulating in the Messianic, Two House and Sacred Name movements.
In order to grasp the confusion surrounding the understanding of Paul, let us examine five verses as they appear in the King James Version.
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
(James…

The Parable of Wicked Vinedressers
By James Scott Trimm
33 Hear you another parable: There was a man that was a householder: which planted a
vineyard, and surrounded it with a hedge, and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower,
and delivered it to vinedressers to cultivate it, and went abroad.
34 And when the time of the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, to
receive the fruit.
35 But the vinedressers seized his…

Many have asked "Why have the Jews rejected Jesus?"… well let me make this clear, the only "Jesus" that most Jewish people have ever been exposed to is the "Jesus" that supposedly came to "free them from the bondage of the Law". Yes, they have rejected this Torahless Jesus, and rightly so. But most of them have never been exposed to the real
Yeshua.
In coming years you will see many Jewish people embracing Yeshua as the Messiah. But the Yeshua that they accept will be the real…

False “Way” Seeks to Ban True Scriptures
By James Trimm

The Way International is an anti-nomian Christian sect. They are dispensationalists, heavily influenced by Bulinger. As such, like all dispensationalists, they teach that the Law (Torah) is not for Today. This particular group actually classes water baptism as a practice that was done away with in this new “age of grace”.
Among their other beliefs, they…

The following is a quote from that article.
“Ma’asim” (mah-ah-seem): “Acts or deeds that serve as precedents or laws of standard behavior”—
like the wearing of the sun disc hat (kippah) and lighting of Shabbat candles with the prayer that
says: “Blessed are you, King of the universe, who has commanded us to light the Shabbat candles”.
Come on now folks, did Yahuweh command us to light candles on Friday night? -- NO! Did He teach
us to have a special type water… Continue

In my search to put Yeshua and the writings of the Nazarenes (the “New Testament”/NT”) back into historical context I have seen a lot of varying opinions on just how “Rabbinic” Rabbi Yeshua really was. Many people in the Messianic/Ephraimite/Nazarene circles agree that Yeshua was doing and teaching the written Torah, but he was in opposition to the Oral Torah. Fewer people in these circles feel that Yeshua was teaching the written Torah and he also gleaned certain aspects of the oral Torah as…

Well the heat is on from the enemy. Last night, a little before 2AM someone put an explosive device in our mailbox and blew it up! According to the fire marshal the device was not just an ordinary firecracker, it was not like anything he had ever seen before.
I was up late in the living room at the time. I heard a loud explosion outside, I ran outside to see our mailbox literally glowing and on fire. A car was driving off from the scene but I was unable to get a good license plate…

Proof that Yeshua is the Messiah
By James Trimm
Yeshua MUST be Messiah (regardless of whether or not any other "Messianic Prophecies" are validly speaking of Yeshua)
Isaiah 29 ties the apostasy of Judah to a sealed book (29:10-12) but with the revealing of that sealed book comes an enlightenment and restoration (29:18).
Now it is very important to realize that according to Isaiah 29 our people (Judah) are in a state of general blindness/slumber until…
