About me:
I live in Northern California with my wife and one of my two adult sons. I am a messianic rabbi at Temple Beth HaSHem and provost of Yeshiva Beth HaShem

I am the owner and author of JewToo.org where I post many studies on Messianic Judaism.

My beliefs differ in various respects from many who apply these various terms to their beliefs. I believe what I find revealed in the scriptures and by the Ruach HaKodesh of HaShem. I realize that we are all "gazing into a darkened glass" seeking the Light and hence I respect all people who sincerely seek Truth whether we agree on the details or not and I always open to deeper insights and understandings.

After years of in depth study into many of the world's religions (including converting into several of them to understand them from the inside) I have determined to my satisfaction that biblical religion under the reforms established by Adon Y'shua HaNatzrati (Master Jesus of Nazareth) and his talmidim (students) is the Way of the One God.

I chose "Nazarene Israelite" from the listed choices, but Noahide Nazarene is my handle of choice. "Nazarene Israelite" is an appropriate term I think because we Gentiles have been "grafted" onto the Tree of Israel. I consider the name "Jew" and "Judaism" to be correctly reserved for practitioners of that established religion.

As for my favorite translation of the Scriptures... I love the Authorized King James version, the beauty of the language and its basic devotion to the Textus Receptus. When doing in depth studies I often use it along with various reference works to confirm the translations.
For reading I like the Complete Jewish Bible.
Marital Status

Interests:
Studying the Holy Scriptures, writing studies on their teachings, writing the curriculum for Yeshiva Beth HaShem sharing with others who are interested.

Watching politics, noting the prophetic connections and discussing these with others. I am convinced that the coming of Moshiach is imminent and I find the prophecies both timely and intriguing.
What is your favorite Book of the Scriptures?
Job
What is your favorite verse?
There are several that really speak to me:
Job chapters 38-42
All of Romans 11.
John 4:22
John 3:17
Micah 6:6-8
Psalm 110
What is your favorite quote? (From Scripture or elsewhere)
Psalms 82:
1 A psalm of Asaf: Elohim [God] stands in the divine assembly; there with the elohim [judges], he judges: 2 "How long will you go on judging unfairly, favoring the wicked? (Selah) 3 Give justice to the weak and fatherless! Uphold the rights of the wretched and poor! 4 Rescue the destitute and needy; deliver them from the power of the wicked!" 5 They don't know, they don't understand, they wander about in darkness; meanwhile, all the foundations of the earth are being undermined. 6 "My decree is: 'You are elohim [gods, judges], sons of the Most High all of you. 7 Nevertheless, you will die like mortals; like any prince, you will fall.'" 8 Rise up, Elohim, and judge the earth; for all the nations are yours.
