Favorite version of Scriptures:
I am neither Jew nor Gentile, as there is no such thing in union with Yahshua the Messiah. Galatians 3:28. I am a member of the "Sect of the Nazarenes" Acts 24:5. That means: I love and obey Torah, and I love and obey Messiah.
I like the old time traditional Hymns, I like true Messianic Music; it's not so much the beat of the song, but the words. If they truly lead me to worship the Father & honor His Son, then I enter in and enjoy what I'm listening to at the time.
I also like some country, old & new
Right now I'm working on translating the Gospel of Luke from Codex Bezae into English. I have a Facebook page called Codex Bezae Too. I believe I have hit on some very authentic Scripture. You can visit this page at www.facebook.com/righteousone222
Favorite Television Shows and Movies:
The TV show "Elementary" It's the 21st century version of Sherlock Holmes. With a few exceptions, (New York not London, Dr. Watson's a woman) it pretty much follows the type of the late 19th early 20th century Sherlock Holmes. It's on CBS Thursday night 10:00 p.m. (reruns of season one right now) If you're into that type of thing, check it out; I think you might enjoy it.
What is your favorite Book of the Scriptures?
All of them
What is your favorite verse?
"Yahshua said to him, 'I am the Way, and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by me.'"
What is your favorite quote? (From Scripture or elsewhere)
"Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our Elohim, Jehovah is one." "And Yahshua answered him, 'the first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our Aloha, Jehovah is one.'" (Deut. 6:4; Mk. 12:29 The Canonized Scriptures)
From the Essene (Ebonite) Gospel of the Nazarenes: "And the Lord said unto him, how sayest thou that thou has performed the Law and the Prophets? Behold, many of thy brethren are clad with filthy rags, dying from hunger and thy house is full of much goods, and there goeth from it nought unto them." (Lection XIV:12) & "But Yeshua said unto him, how sayest thou, I can hear all things? Canst thou hear the sighing of the prisoner, or the language of the birds or beasts when they commune with each other, or the voice of angels and spirits? Think how much thou canst not hear, and be humble in thy lack of knowledge." (Lection XV:10)
