The Brit Chadasha does not say that Yahushua KEPT the feast of Hanukkah.
Lets look at the KJV to see where all the confusion is.
John 10
22And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
You can see that this text…

Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 do not contradict each other. Yahweh didn't put the chapter and verse numbers in the original. They were added by the Catholics.
On the third day, Elohim made the plants.
Genesis 1
11And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

The serpent is more subtle than any beast of the field and will always cause people to doubt the word of Yahweh. “Hath Elohim said,” the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them were created in 6 days? The serpent wants you to doubt Yahweh’s word. He wants you to think that Yahweh is not able to communicate to his people exactly what happened at creation and how long it actually took to finish. The serpent works through unlearned and unstable men that are…

Good to see you getting active on here :-)
Welcome!
James "Ya'acov" Cramer said… Shabbat Shalom Achi;
Indeed; I keep the Pesach as near to the instructions of Shemoth 12 as the Ruach has led me to understand.
I will have done this for 6 years as of this upcoming Pesach. Each year has been a learning experience, and as Abba YAH has revealed insights to me, I have incorporated them. One thing I learned very early in my 'walk' is that if one is given an understanding and abides in that understanding, more can be given. but: if one receives an understanding and fails to act upon it; then an opportunity for spritual growth has been passed up.
If we; as humans, do not act upon the knowledge we are given, then we become spiritually stagnate.
Living water only remains living as long as it continies to move forward. When it stops moving forward it pools up and begins to stagnate, becoming 'dead' water. The only way in which it can become living water once again is for Abba YAH to change it, just as HE shows us in HIS creation via evaporation. The study of nature is the study of The Nature of Yahuah!
May the blessings of Abba Yah be upon you and your family.
Shalom v' barchu
James "Ya'acov" Cramer said… Shabbat Shalom Achi Yochanan;
As a mater of fact; I raise and use my own lambs for Pesach on those years when I am blessed with a "fit" young male. ON those years when I am not able to provide out of my own, I go to the Amish, as they are willing to provide one which has not been multilated i.e. castorated, dehorned, or had their tail cut off (docked).
I started raising my own sheep many years ago after finding it very hard to find an "unblemished" lamb among most local herds. It also protects from any unwanted chemicals (antibodies; steriods, etc.)
As stated before; I have been doing this for quite awhile and have always opened my home up to whomever desires to participate. I have had visitors from the east coast to the west coast, and from the gulf states as well. I did this because I was convicted that this is the way we are to be keeping Pesach and having found no-one who followed Shemoth 12, I decided that by Abba YAH's mercy, I would learn to do it myself, through the guidance of HIS Ruach.
At present I know of only 3 others who keep Pesach like this, and even then there is some question concerning their views on how to properly dispose of the remains in the morning.
I do not go out the door of the house until first light in the morning. I try to stay awake the entire night. and whatever is left over by 6:am, I take down to the basement and put in the furnace, after stoking up a very hot fire; (another of the advantages of heating with wood.) Part 1 of 2
James "Ya'acov" Cramer said… Part 2 of 2
I really wish I could tell you that I know of others, especially in your area who are keeping a "true" Pesach, but I don't know of anyone. I am sure there are others down there, but even then one must be very diligent to chack into how they keep it, as I have found people who were using lambs which were female, or even more common, who did not know that sheep actually have long tails which most farmers cut off at birth. So very very diligent in your search.
If indeed you desire to attend Pesach here in southern Michigan; you and your family are more then welcome. I live in an old farmhouse by myself, so I open up my house for those who wish to come and stay. Whether just for Pesach and the First Day of Chag Matzoh, or for the whole week. So far i have 3 confirmed attendees with a possible 4th who is the son of one who will be attending. In both cases, they will only be here for the first and last days as they have only recently become re-employed and dare not take too much time off.
Now! One word of caution. I do not follow the set times of Judaism, nor do I follow the Karaites. Although I keep the Seventh Day Shabbat, I mark the beginning of the year by the first new moon, (and by new moon I am speaking of the mulad) after the spring equinox based upon Yahushalem time. Therefore; the 14th of Aviv will fall upon the 17th day of the 4th roman month.
I hope you find all this information helpful and may Abba YAH bless and watch over you and your beautiful family.
Shabbat Shalom
Ya'acov
Yirmeyahu said… Shalom John, I was thinking about a comment you made recently about how you don't favor postponement rules for the calendar. I think a Scriptural analysis of the situation will reveal they are definitely necessary. I wrote a short paper about it:
Hope it helps. Shalom.
Frank Barbour said… It is nice to know, that there are still a few people who understand The True Teachings Of Scripture! :@) Contrary to what Beryl might think, I am not in the least bit: "Anti-Semitic "... while, Beryl [ herself ] is obviously: "Anti-Israelite" - since, whether she knows it or not, many of those: " Paganized and Sun-Worshiping Christians " are [ in fact ] The Other 11 Tribes Of Zion!
