Operation Wake Up Call
The Emissary Kefa encouraged us to to "hasten" the return of the Messiah (2Kefa 3:12). He also taught that Messiah's return was delayed because Messiah is "longsuffering toward us, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2Kefa 3:9). It is therefore encumbant upon us as Nazarenes to become active in “KIRUV” ("bringing close" "outreach") even going "door to door" with the message just as our Nazarene forefathers did (Acts 20:20).See More

Things are good, preparing for Hanukkah, picked ut the young grandchildren and great, a present. I just have a present for my new grandson in law, I know what he wants. This year I am only buying one present, and then of course I just have my adult children to buy for. We don't do a lot, each of us takes a night, and gives presents to the kids. We used to do the adults, but the finances for all are tight, and it's easier to give just 1 night and for the young ones. I am only the one buying for all, after all we are the parents of the whole family. It really has been a blessing that each takes a night, and they give out their gifts to the kids. We gather each night and light the candles, and pray. Then we have a party on Shabbat, and sing, play the driedle game and eat latkes worship the Father.
