Come out of Her MY PEOPLE
(The Call of Yizre'el)
James Scott Trimm
24 (2:22) And the earth shall respond to the grain, and the wine, and the oil--and they
shall respond to Yizre’el.
25 (2:23) And I will sow her unto Me in the land, and I will have compassion upon her
that had not obtained compassion. And I will say to them that were not My people: You
are My people, and they shall say, You are my Elohim.
(Hosea 2:24-35 (2:22-23) HRV)
This passage from Hosea brings us to a most overlooked thread of prophecy, that of the ultimate restoration of the House of Israel.
The name Yizre'el (Jezreel in the KJV) is the key to this overlooked thread. In Hosea 1:4 Hosea's wife bears a son and YHWH names the son "Yizre'el". Throughout Hosea the names of Hosea's sons had special prophetic meaning. The name "Yizre'el" is a word play on "Yisra'el" (Israel) but has the meaning "El sows" or "El scatters":
4 And YHWH said unto him: Call his name Yizre’el, for yet a little while and I will visit
the blood of Yizre’el upon the house of Yahu, and will cause to cease--the kingdom of
the House of Yisra’el.
(Hosea 1:4 HRV)
The prophetic meaning of this name is revealed in Hosea chapter 2 where Elohim scatters Yisra'el.
At this point it is absolutely essential to distinguish the two houses of Israel in this book. In these first two chapters of Hosea it is clear that it is not the House of Judah who are facing this chastisement. In fact Hosea specifies that while he is punishing the House of Israel, He will have compassion on the House of Judah:
7 But I will have compassion upon the House of Y’hudah, and will save them by YHWH
their Elohim: and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by
horses, nor by horsemen.
(Hosea 1:7 HRV)
By contrast the House of Israel will lose their identity as the people of YHWH. His second and third sons are named "Lo-Ruchmah" ("not compassioned") and "Lo-Ammi" ("Not My People").
Finally YHWH tells us that at a time when the number of the descendants of Israel is as the "as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered." (Hosea 2:1 (1:10)) that this group known as Lo-Ammi "Not My People" will come to be known as "Sons of the Living El."
In other words these people would realize that they are not Gentiles after all, but members or the Ten Lost Tribes. They will realize who they are when they are called AMI “my people” once again. Scattered among the Gentiles are untold numbers of descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel who are discovering their identity and their kinship to the Jewish people.
… but in the land of their captivities they shall remember themselves.
And shall know that I am YHWH their Elohim: for I will give them a
heart, and ears to hear: And they shall praise me in the land of their
captivity, and think upon my name, And return from their stiff neck,
and from their wicked deeds: for they shall remember the way of their
fathers, which sinned before YHWH. And I will bring them again into
the land which I promised with an oath unto their fathers, Avraham,
Yitzchak, and Ya'akov, and they shall be masters of it: and I will
increase them, and they shall not be diminished. And I will make an
everlasting covenant with them to be their Elohim, and they shall be
my people: and I will no more drive my people of Israel out of the
land that I have given them.
(Barukh (Baruch) 2:30-35)
So when and how does this happen? When and how are the Ten Tribes of the House of Israel called “My people” (AMI) once again?
The answer is to be found in the Book of Revelation:
1 And after these things, I saw another angel who descended from heaven, who had great
authority: and the earth shone from his glory.
2 And he cried with a great voice, Bavel the great, has fallen, has fallen: and has
become a habitation for shadim, and a prison for all unclean and hateful spirits,
3 Because she has mixed the wine of her fornication for all the nations, and the kings of
the earth have fornicated with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from
the power of her trade.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out from within her, My
people, so that you do not partake in her sins; so that you do not receive of her
(Rev. 18:1-4 HRV)
This points us back to Jermemiah:
8 Flee out of the midst of Bavel, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as
the he goats before the flocks.
28 Hark! They flee and escape out of the land of Bavel, to declare in Tziyon the
vengeance of YHWH our Elohim; the vengeance of His Temple.
6 Flee out of the midst of Bavel and save every man his life. Be not cut off in her
iniquity, for it is the time of YHWH’s vengeance; He will render unto her a recompense.
7 Bavel has been a golden cup in YHWH’s hand, that made all the earth drunken. The
nations have drunk of her wine, therefore the nations are mad.
8 Bavel is suddenly fallen and destroyed. Wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be
she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Bavel, but she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go every
one into his own country, for her judgment reaches unto heaven, and is lifted up even to
45 My people, go you out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the
fierce anger of YHWH.
(Jer. 50:8, 28; 51:6-9, 45 HRV) (see also Zech. 2:11 (2:7) Is. 52:11; 2Cor. 6:17)
YHWH calls the Ten Tribes of the House of Israel “My people” again in Jeremiah 41:45 and Rev. 18:4 when He calls them out of Babylon. This is the call of Yizre'el (Hosea 2:24-35 (2:22-23) HRV)
Not long ago I was reading a blog by a leader who has recently written a book opposing the “Two House” movement and proclaiming Two Torah Theology. The opening of the blog said “I know you are as interested in reforming the Church as I am…”
In fact the call of Yizre’el is not to reform Babylon, but to GET OUT of Babylon. Jeremiah tells us that when some hear the call to come out of Babylon, they will not want to leave, instead they will want to try to heal her. But YHWH’s response is “she is not healed”… he did not say to heal her, he said to “forsake her.”
There is no last days call to “reform the Church.” The Ten Tribes of the House of Israel are not being called to heal Babylon, they are being called to come out of Babylon and forsake her.
Scattered among the Gentiles are untold numbers of descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel who are discovering their identity and their kinship to the Jewish people.
