President Barack Obama decried ‘‘these numbers demand action. It is inexcusable and irresponsible for any of us to get bogged down in distraction, delay or politics as usual while millions of Americans are being put out of work '' speaking of the delay of his “ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE” legislation. ‘‘Now is the time for Congress to act." President Obama's remarks were some of his most direct and pointed in support of the massive economic package that the Senate considered Friday and tried to pare down below its $900-billion-plus price tag. President Obama acknowledged it was not perfect and pledged to work with lawmakers to refine the measure, which he called "absolutely necessary…But broadly speaking, the package is the right size, it is the right scope, and it has the right priorities to create 3 to 4 million jobs, and to do it in a way that lays the groundwork for long-term growth… They (the American People) did not choose more of the same in November," Obama said Friday. "They did not send us to Washington to get stuck in partisan posturing, to try to score political points. They did not send us here to turn back to the same tried and failed approaches that were rejected because we saw the results. They sent us here to make change with the expectation that we would act…. These Americans are counting on us, all of us in Washington. We have to remember that we're here to work for them. If we drag our feet and fail to act, this crisis will turn into a catastrophe. We'll continue to get devastating job reports like today's month after month; year after year… 3.6 million Americans who wake up every day wondering how they are going to pay their bills, stay in their homes and provide for their children. That's 3.6 million Americans who need our help!”
I told you last week, that the President’s “Organizing for America” was calling on their supporters “open up your homes, talk with your neighbors and friends about how the plan will work — and what it means for their community.”
Even after this week’s “door to door” economic evangelization, the majority of Americans are now opposed to spending a trillion dollars on social engineering and other liberal causes. For President Obama to expect the nation to accept a bill that spends billions on global warming research, which goes into all kinds of social engineering, if President Obama thought the American people who are really suffering are going to take all of this and say oh yeah, he's not living in the real world. So it's partially his fault for not understanding the mood of the nation right now. Thursday, February 5th 2009 in the Oval Office, the President said, “I screwed up!” That's not something we're used to hearing from our president in recent years. He realizes he overplayed his hand. We don't need research on global warming in this bill. We don't need birth control for the kids. We don't need income redistribution. All of those things can wait for another time and another debate.
President Obama needs to lead our nation and Congress and get an effective economic stimulus bill passed.
I will tell you what is “inexcusable and irresponsible.” It is inexcusable and irresponsible for any of us to get bogged down in distraction, delay or politics as usual while millions of potential Israelites are dying without hearing our message.. These are just carnal distraction designed to get our minds off the true calling we have. We have been given a mission too important to be left undone. “…Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father, by authority of the Son through the inspiration of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:19)
Who are we to go to?
“These twelve YahShua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans: but go rather to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’” (Matthew 10:5-7)
“…He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Sovereign, help me.” (Matthew 15:24, 25)
“I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will hear to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.” (John 10:16)
“…this full Messianic message of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24:14)
Even with the phenomenal opportunities and technologies we have to spread the Full Messianic Message today, much of the world still waits for the good news of King Messiah YahShua and His Kingdom.
“…you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
We are to go and evangelize “Jerusalem” symbolic of our hometown; “Judaea” symbolic of our nation; “Samaria” symbolic of the nations bordering our nation; and finally “unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Each day the world population grows by about 500,000, and the number of people not having an adequate opportunity to hear and respond to the Full Messianic Message increases by almost 91,000 per day most of which are hostile towards Israel.
Some 4,100 groups with a total of 450 million people have no portion of the Sacred Scripture available in their language.
Going to and being a speaker at the “Restoration of the Kingdom” Conferences I have had the opportunity to work with dedicated students who are preparing to take this Full Messianic Message to the ends of the earth. I serve on the mission field short-term every year alongside deeply committed native emissaries in both Australia and New Zealand – that is pretty much the ends of the earth. I have met with Israeli nationals who are putting their lives at risk for the restoration of the Kingdom. As a result, I have seen even more clearly how central our local congregation is for the work of the Great Commission.
“And YahShua came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father, by authority of the Son through the inspiration of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age. Amien.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Most important in the work of a local congregation to reach out globally is prayer for our mission congregations realizing they are daughter congregations to us. Every time I go “Down Under” the congregations there want you to know they are faithful and are praying for us – the parent congregation. Never have I met with the Rabbis and Elders there who did not long for Believers to pray for them. Rather, they have sought our prayer support more than any other type of assistance. They know that they cannot do the work to which Yahweh has called them without His power.
Out of the wealth Yahweh has given us, we are privileged to help sustain a global outreach by publishing books and making CDs available to our daughter congregations. The local congregation’s financial support is always needed.
The local congregation is also the source of international emissaries. Many of the emissaries I have met speak of a home congregation that taught them, prayed for them, and sent them out. In fact, the emissaries are now simply a Great Commission extension of that congregation. I want to praise Yahweh for you, for you have sent me out at great sacrifice to expand our influence.
“As they were walking along the road, a man said to [Messiah YahShua], ‘I will follow you wherever you go.’
YahShua replied, ‘Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.’ He said to another man, ‘Follow me.’
But the man replied, ‘Sovereign, first let me go and bury my father.’
YahShua said to him, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the Kingdom of Yahweh.’
Still another said, ‘I will follow you, Sovereign; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family.’
YahShua replied, ‘No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the Kingdom of Yahweh.’
After this the King appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go. He told them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask Master of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.
When you enter a house, first say, “Shalom to this house.” If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you. Stay in that house, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, “The Kingdom of Yahweh is near you.” But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, “Even the dust of your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off against you. Yet be sure of this: The Kingdom of Yahweh is near.” I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths.
He who listens to you listens to Me; He who rejects you rejects Me; but he who rejects Me rejects Him Who sent Me.’
The seventy-two returned with joy and said, ‘Sovereign, even the demons submit to us in Your name.’
He replied, ‘I saw haSatan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.’
At that time YahShua, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, ‘I praise you, Father, Adonai of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was Your good pleasure.
All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows Who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows Who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.’
Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.’” (Luke 9:57-62-10:1-24)
King Messiah YahShua by order of His Heavenly Father appointed Seventy-two Disciples (according to the “number of the nations of the earth” (Genesis 10) seventy plus one more alternate pair) and sent them out in pairs to spread His message. Their message “The Kingdom of Yahweh is near you.”
Before they go King Messiah YahShua challenges them to count the cost of following Him. He says they must give first priority to proclaiming of the Kingdom of Yahweh, and to dissolve emotional attachments in their past life.
Messiah YahShua had made a firm decision of faith to obey the will of His Heavenly Father and go to Jerusalem to die on the Tree for the sin of the world. His death was approaching and time was running out to harvest more souls. He needed more workers. He was expanding the ministry beyond the Twelve. Messiah YahShua appointed seventy-two others and sent them out two by two to cover different areas for His coming. This was Yahweh’s wisdom. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 say, “Two are better than one...If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” Two persons can form a spiritual vessel, with which they can withstand the power of Sitre HaRa (Dark Forces). “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20) Messiah YahShua ministry was expanding from the nation of Israel into the Diaspora - other nations where the Lost Sheep of Israel had gone.
Like a farmer, when Messiah YahShua looked at the harvest field, the harvest was plentiful. He viewed the Lost Sheep of Israel as His harvest field. It was the harvest season. The winter season was coming soon. All His harvests will be ruined if He did not harvest now. He realized, He did not have enough field workers. When Messiah YahShua saw the change of one Samaritan woman in John 4, it brought a confrontation with his disciples, “‘Why are you talking with her?’ (He had told them not to go into the “way of the Gentiles” or into Samaria. He had not gone into Samaria, Samaria had come to Him. Like Ruth the Samaritan may come into the Kingdom if they deny their heritage and become Israelites by calling upon Yahweh! "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your Elohim my Elohim. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May Yahweh deal with me, be it ever so severely, if anything but death separates you and me." (Ruth 1:16, 17))
Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, ‘Come, see a man Who told me everything I ever did. Could this be Messiah?’ They came out of the town and made their way toward him.
Meanwhile his disciples urged him, ‘Rabbi, eat something.’
But he said to them, ‘I have food to eat that you know nothing about.’
Then his disciples said to each other, ‘Could someone have brought him food?’
‘My food,’ said YahShua, ‘is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work. Do you not say, “Four months more and then the harvest”? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying “One sows and another reaps” is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.’
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, ‘He told me everything I ever did.’ So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of His words many more became Believers.
They said to the woman, ‘We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.’” (John 4:27-42)
” Harvesting crops requires four month waiting period. But now is harvesting time. Open your eyes and see how many people are waiting for you to harvest them.
Messiah YahShua sent out seventy-two disciples into the harvest field. Messiah YahShua commanded them with an exclamation mark, “Go!” Don’t think, “Should I go or not?” Don’t say “I need to pray about it.” And don’t pray for someone else to go. Messiah YahShua said for you to “Go!” Respond to YahShua’s command.
Messiah YahShua had counted the cost. “I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.” Lambs are vulnerable. Messiah YahShua sends us out into dangerous territory, but we are not alone. Messiah YahShua said in Luke 10: 19, “Nothing will harm you.” What an assurance we have from our Good Shepherd, King Messiah YahShua. Though the risk is great, success is assured. Messiah YahShua will be with us to the end of age when we obey His command.
Messiah YahShua gave his disciples several instructions. We will have a fruitful harvest if we follow these instructions carefully. The disciples are to travel light and press on to their goal. Depend on Yahweh and do not to be distracted. When King Messiah YahShua sends us, we must just go, depending on Yahweh alone.
“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.” We are to impart the “peace of Yahweh that passes all understanding.” (Philippians 4:7) Do not move around from house to house until the work is finished. Disciples must not move around to find better sheep or a better environment. Stay in that house until you’ve exhausted your witness or worn out your welcome. Be nice and cordial. If the homeowner offers you refreshments receive them for you, the worker, deserves his wages. I Corinthian 9:14 says, “In the same way, Yahweh has commanded that those who preach the full message should receive their living from the message.” In this case, the wage is the hospitality.
If you come to a house and those living there say they cannot invite you in because they are sick, offer to pray the prayer of healing over them. “Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of Yahweh is near you.’” Given the power to heal, we as disciples are to pray the prayer of healing over those who receive us, as a tangible example of Yahweh’s blessing coming on those who respond to the call. The Kingdom of Yahweh is near us when we let Him rule over our lives. For example, in Luke 10:17-18 Messiah YahShua reminds us that haSatan is defeated. He saw haSatan falling from Heaven. And as a result of the disciples’ ministry demons were seen fleeing their advance. King Messiah YahShua came into this world to liberate men from the rule of Sitre HaRa. Nothing can stop the Kingdom from coming, “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18) Messiah YahShua said in Mark 1:15, “The time has come,’ the Kingdom of Yahweh is near. Repent and believe the full message!’”
If you are rejected, do not take it personal because they rejected Messiah YahShua in the same way. Your mission is simply to deliver the message, “The Kingdom of Yahweh is near.” If you are rejected, wipe the dust off your feet and go on to the next house. Yet be sure of this: The Kingdom of Yahweh is still near. Your peace will be returned to you. The people are culpable for their rejection and thus judgment comes against them. In Luke 10:12 Messiah YahShua gave a dire warning to those who reject the Kingdom of Yahweh. You think Yahweh’s judgment on Sodom was terrible. It will be better for Sodom than those that today reject the Kingdom of Yahweh. Woe on the unrepentant cities of Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum, cities in which Messiah YahShua spent most of his time during His Galilean ministry, it will be better on Tyre and Sidon, two cities YahShua says would have repented and wore sackcloth and ashes if they heard the message. “He who listens to you listens to Me; he who rejects you rejects Me; but he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.” We as disciples represent King Messiah YahShua and our authority reflects Yahweh’s authority. If someone rejects you, they are not rejecting you but King Messiah YahShua. And in the end they will be rejected by Yahweh.
We’re even given a glimpse of our potential success. “The seventy-two returned with joy and said, ‘Sovereign, even the demons submit to us in Your name.’” They were excited and rejoiced. Their excitement was focused on their new found authority. People like authority. The seventy-two disciples experienced the great power delegated authority. They rebuked evil spirits by the authority of King Messiah YahShua and the demons ran away. Messiah YahShua enjoyed the spiritual victory over haSatan that had been promised by Yahweh from the beginning (Luke 10:18, 19), yet he was troubled by the disciples’ immaturity and said: “do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.” Yahweh had not chosen the wise and understanding to receive His benefits, but babies. They were not well educated or great in the world. But when they obeyed King Messiah YahShua by faith, they could experience the power of Yahweh. “Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But Yahweh chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; Yahweh chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him. It is because of him that you are in Messiah YahShua, Who has become for us wisdom from Yahweh—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: ‘Let him who boasts boast in Yahweh.’ (Jeremiah 9:24)” (I Corinthians 1:26-31) We can always rejoice that our names are written in heaven.
Messiah YahShua praised Yahweh for working mightily in His disciples. “All things have been committed to Me by My Father. No one knows Who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows Who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.” More than anything else, Messiah YahShua enjoyed His deep personal relationship with His Heavenly Father. He was glad that the Father entrusted His whole plan for Kingdom restoration to Him.
“Then He turned to his disciples and said privately, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.’” What He was saying is that His disciples were on an even higher level than the patriarchs and prophets if you have received the revelation of the restored Kingdom, believe the full message and go out proclaiming it. King Messiah YahShua sent out seventy-two other disciples to proclaim the Kingdom of Yahweh. The Sitre HaRah is being defeated and the Kingdom of Yahweh is advancing. King Messiah YahShua and his disciples were rejoicing. Let’s pray that we may proclaim the message of Kingdom faithfully, “The Kingdom of Yahweh is near.”
“And this full message of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the End will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
Fishers & Hunters
“‘But now I will send for many fishermen,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks. My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes. I will repay them double for their wickedness and their sin, because they have defiled my land with the lifeless forms of their vile images and have filled my inheritance with their detestable idols.’” (Jeremiah 16:16-18)
There is a difference between “fishers” and “hunters.” A fisherman takes a line and a tackle box, quietly goes up to the water’s edge, and sits down and casts his lure in the water and waits for someone to take the bait. A fisherman is one who tries to lure in the quarry. An experienced fisherman knows what kinds of fish are in there, what kind of bait they like, and the best time to fish. He opens his tackle box and chooses the right size hook, the right size sinker, and the right size line. He carefully baits that hook with what he knows will appeal to the fish. Then he just quietly throws his line in, sits down, and waits. Sometimes he’ll pull the line a little, or draw it in and cast it out again. A hunter stalks his prey, tries to corner it, flush it out, and then pounce on it. “Repent or perish!” We try to find someone who will listen. Sometimes we even argue and get kind of pushy. “I’d like to ‘bag that one.’” We pounce on them, “This is what you need!” Our attitude is that of trying to corner, trap, or expose so we can shoot. “You are wrong and I’m right!” We hunt. By the time we are done, we have driven them deeper into hiding than before. The hunters will come but that is not our ministry – we’ve been called to fish!
“As YahShua was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Shimon called Kepha and his brother Adam (Andrew). They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” YahShua said, “and I will make you fishers of men. (Matthew 4:18-19)”
YahShua began his ministry first in Galilee as King David's greater son – the Crown Prince – proclaiming “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand’ (Matthew 4:17)” Which is the same message He has commissioned His disciples to preach: “These twelve YahShua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. (Matthew 10:5-7)”
If there is a Kingdom, there is a King. If there is a King there is a ruler. If there is a Ruler there is a rule and that rule is the Torah. Whom you give your life to is who will rule you. Give the Devil an inch and he’ll become a ruler. But follow Messiah and He’ll lead you to the Kingdom. The Kingdom is personified by the King.
King Messiah YahShua called them to become his personal followers and then He said, "Come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." It is not "Follow me, because of what you are already." It is not "Follow me, because you may make something of yourselves;" but, "Follow me, because of what I will make you." “I will make you fishers of men."
Our Messiah is calling you. Can you remember the first time you heard the Full Messianic Message of the Kingdom? It was when you heard that message that the Saviour called you to Himself and from that time on your life has been changed. Immediately you thought of friends and family that needed to hear this call thinking they would be thrilled to hear the message, but they weren't. They began to speak of all the old themes which they always talked about. But it was too late for old thinking, the love of Messiah YahShua, in all its uniqueness, had fallen on you, and you had been called. After all, “who makes you to differ from another? (1 Corinthians 4:7)” It is King Messiah YahShua! “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the Kingdom of Yahweh.”
Here's freedom to him who would speak
Here's freedom to him who would write,
For there's none ever feared that the truth should be heard,
Except he who the truth would indict (Robert Burns).
There’s what people want to hear, what people want to believe, there’s everything else, and then there’s the TRUTH! The Truth means responsibility. That’s why everyone dreads it.
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. (John 15:18-21)”
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn " 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' (Matthew 10:34-36)”
You have been sent: “…to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. (Matthew 10:5-7)” As we go into the nations preach the Full Messianic Message of the Kingdom and the sheep will hear the message. King Messiah YahShua said: "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." (John 10:14-18)
"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost. (Matthew 18:12-14)”
There’s an interesting story recounted in John 21:1-11: “Afterward YahShua appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberius It happened this way: Shimon Kepha, Thomas (called Didymus – the Twin), NataYahu from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Sefat, and two other disciples were together. ‘I'm going out to fish,’ Shimon Kepha told them, and they said, ‘We'll go with you.’ So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
Early in the morning, YahShua stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was YahShua. He called out to them, ‘Friends, haven't you any fish?’
‘No,’ they answered.
He said, ‘Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.’
When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Then the disciple whom YahShua loved said to Kepha, ‘It is the King!’ As soon as Shimon Kepha heard him say, ‘It is the King,’ he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
YahShua said to them, ‘Bring some of the fish you have just caught.’
Shimon Kepha climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
YahShua said to them, ‘Come and have breakfast.’ None of the disciples dared ask him, ‘Who are you?’ They knew it was the King. YahShua came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time YahShua appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.”
In Biblical symbolism the land represents Israel and the sea represents the Sea of Humanity where we’ve been dispersed. The land is above the sea, with mountains on it reaching up toward heaven. The land is a “priestly” territory between Yahweh’s heaven and the rest of the world.
“’Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites." (Exodus 19:5-6)”
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to Yahweh, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)”
“And they sang a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for Yahweh from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our Elohim, and they will reign on the earth.’ (Revelation 5:9-10)”
“This is what Yahweh Almighty says: "Let them glean the remnant of Israel as thoroughly as a vine; pass your hand over the branches again, like one gathering grapes." (Jeremiah 6:9)”
“I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. (Jeremiah 23:3)”
“For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the House of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. (Amos 9:9)”
We are the whistle or call of Yahweh: “I will whistle for Ephraim (1 King 19:9-18), and gather the remnant; for I have redeemed them, and they shall increase as they increased when I sowed them among the nations, and they shall remember me in far countries; and they and their children will live and return. (Zechariah 10:8-9)”
Corresponding to this, the priestly people are symbolized as sheep while lost Israel is symbolized by fish. For instance, there is the story of Jonah. He is swallowed by a big fish and then spat out again. This symbolized Israel’s going into Assyrian exile and then being returned to the land. Thus, the fish was the dispersion into Assyria, a place where Israel would be protected while dwelling in the Sea of Humanity outside the Land in exile.
None of the Priests, Prophets, and Kings of Israel were fishermen. They were all farmers, shepherds or herdsman. By way of contrast, none of Messiah YahShua’s disciples was a farmer, shepherds or herdsman. The most prominent of the disciples were fishermen. Nobody is shown eating fish in the Tanach, but Messiah YahShua feeds the 5000 with fish, not with steak. After His resurrection He eats a fish, not a piece of lamb. The disciples are never spoken of as herdsman; they are “fishers of men.” This shift in imagery indicates that King Messiah YahShua was calling His followers to go to the whole world, to fish Israel out of the nations. He was making a direct interpolation to Jeremiah 16:16.
That is why Yahweh declares before His wrath is poured out: “‘But now I will send for many fishermen,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and they will catch them.” (Jeremiah 16:16) We – the Fishermen – are Israel and the world’s last hope. The days of tolerance is ending: “Therefore, since we are the offspring of Yahweh, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Truly, these times of ignorance Yahweh overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” (Acts 17:29-31) After us – the Fishermen – comes the Hunters: After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.
Seven Steps for Sifting Israel from the Nations
“For I will give the command, and I will sift the House of Israel from among all the nations as grain is sifted in a sieve, and not a kernel will reach the ground.” (Amos 9:9)
In doing the global outreach of “sifting the House of Israel among all nations,” our whole congregation matters. Every Believer must do their part if we intend to carry out the Great Commission. Consider these simple ways to increase your commitment to accomplish the Great Commission:
Ask Yahweh to give you a heart for Lost Israel. I have seen entire congregations burdened about the Great Commission after Yahweh moved first in the life of only one member. Passionate, mission-minded Believers are difficult to ignore!
Teach the Great Commission. Train children, youth, and adults about the significance of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every opportunity to show why every follower of Messiah should be concerned about the Kingdom Restored.
Promote, promote, and promote again any outreach that goes toward spreading the Full Messianic Message of the Kingdom. Challenge your congregational members to give sacrificially. For example, encourage them to give to missions at least a tithe of what they spend on Chanukah gifts this year.
Invite people to your house and show them a video. Nothing speaks to heart quite like a "real live" Israelite does, and the time set aside for a sharing the message is time well spent. Contact any person the Holy Spirit guides you to.
Challenge congregational members to pray daily for Lost Israel. Then, challenge them to “go” out and make “disciples.”
Sponsor a short-term mission trip for your congregational members. Teaching about missions is a starting point, but actually experiencing missions can be life-changing. Be sure to commission your members as missionaries as you send them out.
Pray corporately that your congregational members will heed the call to be missionaries for the Kingdom. Perhaps he will use some of your congregational members to take the Full Messianic Message where it has never been.
You Can Sift at Work
Here are four other essential points for winning the people for the Kingdom with whom you work:
1. Personal Integrity
Be honest, upright and righteous in every area. Don’t cheat on your employer’s time. Remember that Yahweh is watching you even though the boss is not. Have personal integrity every day, every hour at the workplace.
2. Quality Work
Do it right. Don’t rush it too much. “Things done by halves are never done right,” it is a poor testimony when things are not finished or done right.
3. Caring Relationships
Care about your boss, the people with whom you work, those who are under you, and those for whom you are performing the work. Remember they have a soul. You are not just here to get the work done or earn money.
4. Short, Fitting Comments About our Heavenly Father
Are you working with Unbelievers or on a crew that is made up of Unbelievers? Are you working for an owner that is not a Believer? In an appropriate time in your conversations, share a short fitting comment about Yahweh. Watch what their response is.
Put these four essentials to practice in the workplace and you will be able to reach some in due time.

I’m _______ , I’m not selling anything and I’m not collecting for anything, I just wanted
to meet my neighbors. Say do you know much about Jesus?
1. Jesus’ real name actually was “YahShua” which in Hebrew means “Yahweh is salvation” “[Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name YahShua, because He will save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21). Did you see, “The Passion of the Christ”? That’s the name they used all through the movie.
“Jesus” or more correctly “Joshua” is a modern English pronunciation of the Greek translations of his name.
2. YahShua was not born on December 25th, in fact he was actually born in the fall, during the Biblical Festival of Tabernacles.
3. YahShua was a Jew. YahShua did not actually come to create a new religion but to be the Israel’s Messiah. In fact His original followers were a sect of Judaism called “Nazarenes”.
[B] Say do you have a Bible?
<no> That’s fine I brought mine.
If we could sit down together I would love to show you some more things in the Scriptures that would blow your mind.
[C] Its great that you’re a fellow truth-seeker. As a truth-seeker myself, I would love to learn more about your faith. I want my beliefs to be big enough to include all the facts, open enough to be tested and flexible enough to change. Perhaps we could sit down and share, I’m always interested in truth. (Make an appointment.)
If no is still no, be kind and “nice” your way out. Give them the tract: “What Do You Mean Church?” and the “Bible Quiz.” If you are nice you might be given another chance one day.
