Information
The Emissary Kefa encouraged us to to "hasten" the return of the Messiah (2Kefa 3:12). He also taught that Messiah's return was delayed because Messiah is "longsuffering toward us, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2Kefa 3:9). It is therefore encumbant upon us as Nazarenes to become active in “KIRUV” ("bringing close" "outreach") even going "door to door" with the message just as our Nazarene forefathers did (Acts 20:20).

It is therefore encumbant upon us as Nazarenes to become active in “KIRUV” ("bringing close" "outreach") even going "door to door" with the message just as our Nazarene forefathers did (Acts 20:20). Operation KIRAV is a complete support system for full scale door to door outreach.
The KIRAV system consists of six simple lessons intended to be given over six visits of less than an hour each. The first lesson is titled “What is Truth?” by the sixth visit “You’re a Nazarene Now” the prospect has become a Nazarene. At each visit the prospect is given a low key 3-fold flyer “study guide” with which to follow along and which they can keep to look back over. On the back of each study guide is a place to write down an appointment time for the next visit.
The Study Guides are not tracts, they are only intended as study notes to guide you through a productive step by step set of oral studies. Just print out the study guides below, fold them and use them. The following is a suggested script and your tools:

1. Don't argue harshly, follow Prov. 15:1. Otherwise you may win the argument and lose the soul.
2. Look for opportunities to agree... bond. If you find that a certain point interests them, concentrate on it.
3. Look for opportunities to complement them for being "smart" for example if they reach a conclusion just ahead of you, or comment that they always thought a certain thing was true already. Like "I always thought the Sabbath was supposed to be on Saturday, I never understood why it was moved to Sunday".

This is an old fashioned “house to house” (Acts 20:20) outreach. Many Christian groups have discarded house to house outreach as “ineffective”, yet the Mormons and the Jehovah’s Witnesses seem to know better. Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses are amazingly successful at winning converts through house to house outreach. If they can accomplish that much with error, imagine what we can do going house to house with the TRUTH.
This is intended as a group for Nazarenes who are committed and not afraid to take the message of Messiah “house to house” (Acts 20:20).
Here are a few tips to start with:
1. If possible travel in pairs.
2. Carry a SMALL unobtrusive Bible.
3. If possible carry a KJV and use it for this outreach, though you may ultimately refer to other versions, or underlying Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek words. Its best to reach people where they are.
4. Use terms they will know. Take a moment in Lesson One to explain the term “Torah”.
Don’t overwhelm them with Sacred Names they do not know yet. At the same time don’t make yourself look hypocritical later by using “pagan names”. For example use “Messiah” rather than Jesus, Yeshua or Christ. Use Yahweh as needed. Early in lesson two the Scared Name issue will be resolved.
5. Slip into study one and hand them the study guide subtly after you get going together. If they are willing, have them look up the proof texts in their own Bible. Beware, certain versions are not literal translations but paraphrases, such as “The Living Bible” “The Book” “Today’s English Version” and “The Good News Bible”. Some literal translations are: New American Standard, Revised Standard Version and NIV.
6. If they are using a New World Translation they are probably Jehovah’s Witnesses. If they are using the New American Bible, they are probably Catholic.

I find this to be very enlightening on how to go house to house. I attended a Seminar on building House church's from the book of Acts. This too ties into the application. Thank you for inviting me to this group.
