It's surprising how many of similar beliefs there are in NZ, but most seem to be unaware of those around them. Thank you Kirel for our contact, Sara-H + I look forward to meeting you. My wife + I witnessed as JWs on the North Shore, swopped horses to SDA there, then moved to COG-Jerusalem, all while on the Shore -back in the "Old Days" in "Ancient days" before you were born (1969-72). Your welcome Anthony. One of my teenage mates during the 50s was Ross Williams, from Mt Wellington, are you related to him, or is Williams not your surname? Ross passed away about 10 years ago now...
Are you aware of "Talmidei Yahshua" fellowship at Pt Chev each Shabath? I've visited there twice, they have a great atmosphere, + you arrive to Israeli music + costumed women Israeli dancing.

There are two Nazarene fellowships closer to us -Tauranga + Hamilton.
I've never attended either as my wife is not able to be on deck very long.
If you're interested in a housebus, I have an 11.3 m one I've been getting around to selling for 3 years now. We need something about 6-7m that we can get to assemblies + stop-over anywhere in, and yet commute for shopping each week too. If you hear of anyone wanting to size up, perhaps we can do a deal. William is my middle name. My father is french so my surname is unique within New Zealand.

 

Yes I have heard of "TY" - Thanks... I've been attending home fellowships with a few families on Aucklands North Shore. We had some friends visit from Australia for Pesach, and a believer from Japan also visited us to be Immersed during Chag haMatzot.

 

I will remember your housebus when talking with people.

Glad you have fellowship. Are any of those folk xSDA or xJW - we were both decades back on the Shore. Would love to know if any of them have broken out of those spells? We have Messianic/Nazarene friends at Orewa, Hatfields Beach + a solo mum over Kumeu way. If you want to contact them, let me know. -Abe

Abe, yes we have 1 exSDA. He was a "normal" christian, then realised Sabbath is the 7th day so went to SDA. Then years later came to Hebrew Roots and Torah, then went to TY before fellowshipping with us.

 

We are organizing a Shavuot meeting on 12 June at Massey Uni (Albany). Its not a big organized event with programs or anything... just a social gathering to try meet and catch up with believers around NZ to make new contacts and friendships. Anyone is invited.
