(1) Is it possible to commit lashon hara against oneself, and (2) is one encouraged/commanded to protect the integrity of one's name - and (3) to what degree and length is one commanded to protect the integrity of one's name ?

Yes you can commit Leshon Hora against yourself, read the laws of Leshon Hora it would help.

I am not sure if we are commanded to protect our own name as our name in itself is nothing outside of HaShem.

I am not sure the biblical reasons however for my own self my name is unimportant, as our prayers say.

May my soul as dust to everyone,  make my soul silent. I think the Amidah Prayer says it all, make my soul silent, I do not think we should protect our own name as long as we are in the will of HaShem and doing what He has commanded.  I think that He will protect us in His Purpose.

Again just my own personal opinion which does not mean much.
