Is there any justfication in torah for the slaughtering of the Pesach lamb outside Jerusalem in the diaspora? What is the common ruling on this issue?
In other words, which command takes precedence:
Exo_12:14 (ISR) ‘And this day shall become to you a remembrance. And you shall observe it as a festival to YHWH THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS – observe it as a festival, an everlasting law.
must slaughter throughout our generations, BUT...
Deu 16:5 “You are not allowed to slaughter the Passover within any of your gates which YHWH your Elohim gives you,
Deu 16:6 but at the place where YHWH your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell, there you slaughter the Passover in the evening, at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time you came out of Mitsrayim

I will use your own summary:
Day 1: is it EVENING OF 14TH-EVENING OF 15TH or 15th Night (FIRST NIGHT) 15th Day (FIRST DAY) YES!
Day 2: is it EVENING OF 15TH-EVENING OF 16TH or 16th Night (SECOND NIGHT) 16th Day (SECOND DAY) YES!
Day 3: is it EVENING OF 16TH-EVENING OF 17TH or 17th Night (THIRD NIGHT) 17th Day (THIRD DAY) YES!
Day 4: is it EVENING OF 17TH-EVENING OF 18TH or 18th Night (FOURTH NIGHT) 18th Day (FOURTH DAY) YES!
Day 5: is it EVENING OF 18TH-EVENING OF 19TH or 19th Night (FIFTH NIGHT) 19th Day (FIFTH DAY) YES!
Day 6: is it EVENING OF 19TH-EVENING OF 20TH or 20th Night (SIXTH NIGHT) 20th Day (SIXTH DAY) YES!
Day 7: is it EVENING OF 20TH-EVENING OF 21ST or 21st Night (SEVENTH NIGHT) 21st Day (SEVENTH DAY) YES!
The 1st Day of Unleavened Bread is the 15th, but it starts from the Evening of the 14th.
This is exactly like you keep the Day of Atonement on the 10th day of the Seventh Month, but you begin it from the previous Evening on the 9th.
Leviticus 23
26And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying,
27Also ON THE 10TH DAY OF THE 7TH MONTH SHALL BE A DAY OF ATONEMENT: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yahweh.
28And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Yahweh Eloheynu.
29For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: IN THE 9TH DAY OF THE MONTH AT EVENING, FROM EVENING UNTO EVENING, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
So we see that the Day of Atonement is on the 10th day of the 7th Month, but begins from the previous Evening on the 9th.

Permalink Reply by 命 on April 20, 2012 at 1:31pm These are actually the same, Andrew.
What "John" calls the "evening of the 14th" actually is supposed to be the time right after the 14th has ended, after sunset, which "John" synonymously refers to as "15th (night) / (first night)"
It's like you're compulsively pursuing the idea that "evening of the 14th" means something other than the beginning parts of the 15th, after sunset, or something.

Permalink Reply by John on April 21, 2012 at 4:01am Do you understand how to keep the day of atonement and exactly when you start keeping it?
Permalink Reply by Onieu bahn Duid on April 21, 2012 at 4:20am Yes i understand when to keep the day of atonement. you begin keeping it halfway in the middle of the 9th day, and end it halfway in the middle of the 10th day. thus, half of the day of atonement is on the 9th day and the other half is on the 10th day.
