"Probably Germany will lead and dominate the coming United States of Europe. But Britain will be no part of it!"
(Herbert W. Armstrong; 1975 in Prophecy pages 5-6)

It seems that when Britain joined the European Common Market Armstrong said:

"The members of the European Common Market are probably not the same ten that will resurrect the Holy Roman Empire."
(Mystery of the Ages p. 248)

So BREXIT would not have come as a surprise to Herbert W. Armstrong.

Someone in one of my Skype chat groups said that they just got news that Scotland and Ireland will now leave Britton. It will need to change it's name from the UK to just K!

They may hold elections on leaving the UK, but that would be months or years in the future.
