A Study on the Books of Enoch (3 Part Series Thus Far)

Some of you may or may not know that JJ Roxx and I have been hard at work on our study on Schtix and Stones on the Books of Enoch.  It has been fascinating to find out many of the things that are happening right now in the news were foretold in the Books of Enoch.  We have done 3 parts of the series on the Books of Enoch on our radio program Schtix and Stones (which is aired on the Nazarene Radio Network, The Yahshuan Radio Network, TRM Radio and Ghostfighter Radio) and we wanted to share the audio with you and the study guides for this study on the Books of Enoch.  We have been using Dr Trimm's translation of the Books of Enoch and it is important to have a good translation when studying any Scripture.  And we endorse Dr Trimm's Translation of the Books of Enoch and it has been a great help in this study.  But here are the audio links to the first three parts of this series on the Books of Enoch, and the audio is absolutely free so make a point to check it out.

Is your study of Enoch from the position that its a truthful book, interpreting it as you would interpret the Bible, or is it a study of the manuscript history and veracity and so forth of the book ?

In the first part in the first segment we go over the historical aspect, then we proceed chapter by chapter, in each part of the series

So in the chapter-by-chapter study, you proceed from the assumption that its inspired, then ?

Jude sure did and the translators of the dead sea scrolls

Scribes of the dead sea scrolls rather, I know for many it is hard to get away from the Christian cannon

Jude accepted a book of Enoch. Who knows whether anything was added to it?
There are multiple Jashers, also multiple Enochs. And I'm not just talking about 1 Enoch, 2 Enoch, 3 Enoch, there are more, which contradict each other. Most of them include that quote that is mentioned in Jude.

They say 1 Enoch is composed of 5 books.
The quote from Jude is found in 1 Enoch, book 1, which I think may have been inspired (as for whether its been edited, who knows).

1 Enoch if you listen to the audio above is the only one that is real all your questions are in the audio above

So you don't follow the biblical canon ?
You follow instead/additionally the dead sea scroll writings ?

I follow what was in the original cannon not the Catholic/protestant cannon.  Shefer HaYashar,1  Enoch and the Apocrypha (including 3rd and 4th Maccabees) is cannon according to the oldest texts

According to which "oldest texts" ?
Kind of curious.
