Recently I told you that YHWH is preparing to do great things with both the House of Judah and the House of Israel. The ground has been softened, broken, and made ready for planting. A spiritual season is shifting. The time has come for us to deepen our commitment to the restoration of the original faith of the emissaries and first followers of Yeshua\u2014the faith once delivered to the set-apart ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I speak of the “House of Judah,” I am not referring merely to ethnic Jews or Rabbinic Judaism. I mean Nazarene Judaism<\/strong>\u2014the ancient and original Jewish sect of the first century that followed Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah within<\/em> Judaism, not apart from it. The restoration of this sect is the restoration of the remnant of Judah in the last days. It is not Christianity, and it is not Rabbinic Judaism, but it is a return to the faith of the original Netzarim<\/em>\u2014the Nazarenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To understand this prophetic moment, we must revisit a long-overlooked but vitally important theme in Scripture: the restoration of the two houses of Israel<\/strong>, Judah and Ephraim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosea and the Scattering of Ephraim<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let us begin with the prophet Hosea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cAnd the earth shall respond to the grain, and the wine, and the oil\u2014and they shall respond to Yizre\u2019el. And I will sow her unto Me in the land, and I will have compassion upon her that had not obtained compassion. And I will say to them that were not My people: You are My people, and they shall say, You are my Elohim.\u201d

This beautiful promise is grounded in the name Yizre\u2019el<\/strong> (Jezreel in the KJV). The name is a wordplay on Yisra\u2019el<\/em>, but carries the meaning \u201cEl sows\u201d or \u201cEl scatters.\u201d This pun is not poetic ornamentation\u2014it is prophetic. In Hosea 1:4, YHWH names Hosea\u2019s first son Yizre\u2019el<\/em> to signify what He will do to the House of Israel<\/strong>\u2014the northern tribes, often referred to collectively as Ephraim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCall his name Yizre\u2019el, for yet a little while and I will visit the blood of Yizre\u2019el upon the house of Yahu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the House of Yisra\u2019el.\u201d
\u2014Hosea 1:4 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The scattering of Ephraim was a divine sowing\u2014a planting for a future harvest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosea\u2019s second and third children are named Lo-Ruchamah<\/strong> (“not pitied”) and Lo-Ammi<\/strong> (“not My people”), symbolizing the spiritual divorce and identity loss of the House of Israel. But even in judgment, YHWH promises mercy and restoration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYet, the number of the children of Yisra\u2019el shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered. And it shall come to pass, that instead of that which was said unto them, You are not My people: it shall be said unto them, You are the children of the living El.\u201d
\u2014Hosea 2:1 (1:10 HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This is not referring to Gentiles in general\u2014it is referring to Ephraim<\/em>, the lost northern tribes who were scattered and came to forget their identity. Their restoration is not a conversion from Gentile to believer\u2014it is a return from exile. A remembering of who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remembering Themselves in the Land of Captivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This return to identity is echoed in the Book of Baruch, where we are told that in the lands of their captivity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201c\u2026they shall remember themselves. And shall know that I am YHWH their Elohim: for I will give them a heart, and ears to hear\u2026 and they shall remember the way of their fathers, which sinned before YHWH\u2026 and I will bring them again into the land which I promised with an oath unto their fathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya\u2019akov\u2026\u201d
\u2014Baruch 2:30\u201335<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This is not a generic spiritual awakening. It is the awakening of a people\u2014the lost sons of Jacob\u2014returning to covenant consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul\u2019s Use of Hosea: Gentiles or Ephraim?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This context is crucial when we read Romans 9, where Paul quotes Hosea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cI will call those who were not My people, My people: and to whom I have not shown mercy, I will show mercy\u2026 there they will be called, sons of the Living Eloah.\u201d
\u2014Romans 9:25\u201326 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Paul is not misquoting Hosea; he is interpreting it within its original context. In Hosea, the \u201cnot My people\u201d are the children of Israel<\/strong>, as opposed to the children of Judah<\/strong> (see Hosea 2:1\u20132). Therefore, in Romans 9, when Paul contrasts \u201cJews\u201d and \u201cGentiles,\u201d he is actually contrasting Judah and Ephraim<\/strong>\u2014the two houses of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This same pattern continues into Romans 11, where Paul presents the now-famous allegory of the two olive trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Olive Tree: Two Houses, One Root<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Romans 11 speaks of two kinds of branches: natural<\/strong> and wild<\/strong>. The natural branches represent Judah<\/strong>, and the wild branches represent Ephraim<\/strong>, scattered and assimilated among the nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cIf some branches were broken off, and you who are a wild olive tree, were grafted into their place\u2026 do not boast against the [natural] branches\u2026 you are not bearing the root, but the root bears you.\u201d
\u2014Romans 11:17\u201318 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The wild branches<\/strong> are those scattered of Ephraim\u2014grafted not into a new religion, but back into the cultivated tree of Judah<\/strong>, nourished by the covenant root.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This imagery directly parallels Ezekiel 37, where the prophet sees two sticks\u2014one for Judah, one for Ephraim\u2014joined into one in the hand of YHWH. The Hebrew word etz<\/em> (\u05e2\u05b5\u05e5) means both \u201cstick\u201d and \u201ctree,\u201d further linking the visions of Paul and Ezekiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul warns Ephraim not to boast against Judah. They are being grafted into Judah\u2019s tree, not vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coming Restoration of Judah<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yet Paul also speaks of something even greater:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cIf their stumbling became riches for the world\u2026 how much more therefore, their fullness?\u201d
\u2014Romans 11:12 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cFor if you\u2026 were grafted into the good olive tree, how much more then, those, if they be grafted in their natural olive tree?\u201d
\u2014Romans 11:24 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In other words: if the restoration of Ephraim is powerful, the restoration of Judah will be explosive.<\/strong> Paul calls it “life from the dead” (Romans 11:15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prophetic moment is upon us. A Nazarene remnant from Judah is awakening. YHWH is pouring out His Spirit and restoring what was lost, hidden, and corrupted. But to fully understand this restoration, we must revisit Isaiah 29:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cFor YHWH has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes\u2026 the seers has He covered.\u201d
\u2014Isaiah 29:10 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This blindness, Paul says, is temporary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201c\u2026blindness of the heart, in part, has happened to Yisra\u2019el until the fullness of the Goyim should come.\u201d
\u2014Romans 11:25 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Yet the same chapter in Isaiah also prophesies restoration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cAnd in that day shall the deaf hear the words of a book, and the eyes of the blind shall see\u2026\u201d
\u2014Isaiah 29:18 (HRV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cbook\u201d is being opened again. And we must not neglect it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Restoration of Scripture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We live in a time when YHWH is restoring the Scriptures themselves<\/strong>\u2014both textually and interpretively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We now have access to restored Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts of the so-called \u201cNew Testament.\u201d Books long cast aside\u2014the Apocrypha<\/strong>, the Book of Enoch<\/strong>, and others\u2014have resurfaced for the remnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Book of Enoch foretold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cThen, I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and the wise\u2026 and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them\u2026\u201d
\u20141 Enoch 104:11\u201313<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We have not only believed in these books\u2014we have labored to restore and publish them for the faithful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
