They taught from the Hebrew Scriptures. They continued to observe the Sabbath, the festivals, and the dietary laws. They were a restoration movement within Judaism\u2014not the founders of a new religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But over time, that original faith was <strong>lost<\/strong>, <strong>suppressed<\/strong>, and <strong>replaced<\/strong> by foreign ideologies. What began as a restoration of the ancient faith of Israel became something else entirely\u2014blended with Greco-Roman philosophy, stripped of Torah, and rewritten in Greek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the <strong>Great Apostasy<\/strong>\u2014a falling away from the original faith once delivered to the saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcc9 The Fall: Apostasy Foretold by the Prophets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This departure from truth was not unforeseen. The Scriptures speak plainly of a time when the covenant would be broken, the Torah forgotten, and the people would stumble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2696\ufe0f Testimonies from Scripture:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Isaiah 24:5<\/strong> \u2014 <em>\u201cThe earth is defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amos 8:11\u201312<\/strong> \u2014 <em>\u201cBehold, the days come, says YHWH, that I will send a famine&#8230; not a famine of bread&#8230; but of hearing the words of YHWH.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jeremiah 2:13<\/strong> \u2014 <em>\u201cMy people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Matthew 24:12<\/strong> \u2014 In the <strong>Old Hebrew Matthew<\/strong> (DuTillet), this verse reads:<br><em>\u201cBecause of the increase of \u05e4\u05b6\u05bc\u05e9\u05b7\u05c1\u05e2 (apostasy), the love of many will grow cold.\u201d<\/em><br>The Greek manuscripts use \u1f00\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03af\u03b1 (\u201clawlessness\u201d), but the Hebrew reveals something deeper: not just immoral behavior, but <strong>a deliberate rebellion against the covenant<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acts 20:29\u201330<\/strong> \u2014 <em>\u201cAfter my departure shall grievous wolves enter in among you&#8230; also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 Thessalonians 2:3<\/strong> \u2014 <em>\u201cThat day shall not come, except there come a falling away [\u1f00\u03c0\u03bf\u03c3\u03c4\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03b1] first&#8230;\u201d<\/em><br>This \u201capostasia\u201d is not a minor drift\u2014it is a wholesale turning from the truth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are not isolated warnings\u2014they are a pattern. A time of deception, distortion, and forgetting was foretold. And history confirms it. The original Nazarene faith was forced underground, while a new faith\u2014disconnected from Torah and Hebrew roots\u2014emerged in its place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfd7\ufe0f The Restoration: Rebuilding the Lost Altar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet the story doesn\u2019t end in apostasy. The prophets also foretold a <strong>restoration<\/strong>\u2014a return to the ancient ways. A rebuilding of the broken altar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the prophetic work now unfolding: the <strong>restoration of Nazarene Judaism<\/strong>\u2014not as a new religion, but as the revival of the original faith of Yeshua and his disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\uddf1 A Prophetic Pattern: 1 Maccabees 4:44\u201346<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When the altar in the Temple was defiled, the Maccabees dismantled it stone by stone and stored it away, waiting for a prophet to reveal what should be done. In the meantime, they built a new altar and rededicated it to YHWH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same way, the <strong>faith of the Nazarenes<\/strong> was broken down\u2014its teachings scattered, its language suppressed, its practices outlawed. Now, in our generation, the stones are being gathered once more. The altar is being rebuilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf05 A Vision of Restoration: Rebuilding the Lost Altar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This restoration is not theoretical. It is not abstract. It is real\u2014and for me, it began with a dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was just eighteen when I had it, but it left a mark on my soul. In the dream, I stood in the ruins of an ancient stone altar. It had been broken down\u2014its stones scattered, weathered by time and neglect. But I began to rebuild it, placing each stone carefully in its place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the final stone was set, the altar burst forth with a radiant light\u2014brighter than the sun, too brilliant to behold. From above, shafts of blue light descended from the heavens\u2014pure, powerful, unmistakably divine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behind me stood the Messianic synagogue I attended at the time. I ran inside to tell my friends, to bring them out to witness the wonder\u2014but most were indifferent. Only a few stepped outside to see the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time, I did not fully understand the meaning. Now I do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>broken altar<\/strong> represented the original Nazarene faith\u2014shattered by persecution, assimilation, and apostasy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>act of rebuilding<\/strong> represented the restoration of that faith in our time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>light<\/strong> represented the revealed truth of Elohim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>shafts of blue light<\/strong> were divine confirmation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>indifference<\/strong> of the crowd foreshadowed how few would be willing to step outside the comfort of tradition to witness the true restoration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcdc The Restoration Foretold<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of a restoration is not new. It is deeply rooted in the words of the prophets. And it is unfolding now before our eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfd4\ufe0f <strong>Isaiah 2:3<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAnd many peoples shall go and say, \u2018Come, let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths.\u2019 For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not a prophecy of a new religion, but a return to the <strong>Torah of Zion<\/strong>. It is a restoration of the covenant path that Yeshua walked\u2014the ancient faith of the Nazarenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf3f The Olive Tree and the Sealed Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The restoration is not just about practices and traditions\u2014it is also about <strong>truth<\/strong>, about recovering what was lost or hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Romans 11<\/strong> and <strong>Isaiah 29<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul describes the restoration of Israel using the metaphor of an <strong>olive tree<\/strong>. Some natural branches (Judah) were cut off, and wild branches (the nations) were grafted in. But he foresees a time when the natural branches will be grafted in again\u2014<em>\u201clife from the dead\u201d<\/em> (Romans 11:15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same chapter, Paul quotes <strong>Isaiah 29:10<\/strong> to explain <em>why<\/em> this restoration was necessary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAs it is written: \u2018Elohim has given them the spirit of deep sleep, eyes that should not see, and ears that should not hear; unto this day.\u2019\u201d<\/em><br>\u2014 Romans 11:8 \/\/ Isaiah 29:10<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>And what does Isaiah 29 go on to say?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd5 <strong>Isaiah 29:11\u201314<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe vision of all is become unto you as the words of a sealed book&#8230; Because this people draws near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This sealed book\u2014this hidden vision\u2014is now being unsealed. The \u201cprecepts of men\u201d are being cast down. The <strong>Torah is going forth from Zion again<\/strong>, and the original Hebrew and Aramaic <strong>Scriptures of the Nazarenes<\/strong> are being restored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not merely a spiritual renewal\u2014it is a recovery of language, texts, halacha, and covenant identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 The Restoration Is Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great Apostasy obscured the original faith. But now the ancient stones are being gathered again. The altar is being rebuilt. And just like in the days of the Maccabees, a remnant is rising to rededicate it\u2014not with Greek doctrines, but with the light of Torah and the testimony of Yeshua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vision has been sealed for generations\u2014but now, <strong>the scroll is opening<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\ude4f Join the Restoration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are witnessing the fulfillment of prophecy in our time.
