But what if that lens itself is a distortion\u2014an echo of an original voice, long forgotten but still whispering beneath the surface?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After forty years of rigorous research, I am proud to release my magnum opus:<br>\ud83d\udcd8 <em>Unveiling the Hebrew and Aramaic Origins of the New Testament<\/em><br>\u27a1\ufe0f 444 pages of in-depth linguistic, textual, and historical analysis<br>\u27a1\ufe0f A lifetime\u2019s work, now available to the public:<br>\ud83d\udc49 <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0FD7ZVHT9\">Order the book here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Problem: Lost in Translation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The question at the heart of this work is simple, yet revolutionary: <strong>Was the New Testament originally written in Hebrew and Aramaic\u2014not Greek?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implications are enormous. If the Gospels and Epistles were composed in the Semitic languages of Yeshua and his followers, then the Greek versions we\u2019ve inherited are not originals\u2014but translations. And with any translation, meaning can be lost, idioms can be distorted, and theology can shift subtly, or even dramatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evidence Beneath the Greek Surface<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The internal clues are compelling. Here are just a few highlights from the book:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Matthew 26:6 \/ Mark 14:3 \u2013 \u201cSimon the Leper\u201d?<\/strong><br>The Greek calls him \u03bb\u03b5\u03c0\u03c1\u03cc\u03c2 (leper), but the Aramaic root <em>garba<\/em> could just as easily mean \u201cjar-maker\u201d or \u201cpotter.\u201d Considering the presence of an alabaster jar in the story, the context points clearly to \u201cSimon the jar merchant\u201d\u2014not a leper, who would not have hosted a dinner (cf. Lev. 13\u201314).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Mark 9:49 \u2013 \u201cSalted with fire\u201d?<\/strong><br>A baffling phrase in Greek, but perfectly natural in Hebrew if we reconstruct it as \u201ceverything decaying shall be salted.\u201d The Hebrew word <em>ba\u2019ash<\/em> (to rot) may have been confused with <em>ba\u2019esh<\/em> (with fire) due to the lack of vowels in early manuscripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Matthew 19:24 \u2013 \u201cCamel through the eye of a needle\u201d?<\/strong><br>The Aramaic word <em>gamla<\/em> means both \u201ccamel\u201d and \u201cthick rope.\u201d The more natural metaphor? \u201cIt\u2019s easier for a thick rope to pass through the eye of a needle\u201d\u2014a clear case of mistranslation through homonym confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Acts 4:25 \u2013 Greek confusion reveals an Aramaic base<\/strong><br>The Greek is a jumble: \u201cWho by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of our father David Your servant said\u2026\u201d But the reconstructed Aramaic reads smoothly:<br><em>\u201cThat which our father David, your servant, said by the command of the Holy Spirit\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Matthew 11:19 \u2013 \u201cJustified by her children\u201d or \u201cher deeds\u201d?<\/strong><br>Greek manuscripts differ, but the Old Syriac Aramaic has <em>b\u2019nayah<\/em>, which can be read as either \u201cchildren\u201d (<em>beneh<\/em>) or \u201cdeeds\u201d (<em>binah<\/em>) depending on vocalization. A textbook example of a Greek translator misunderstanding unpointed Aramaic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Matters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t merely academic curiosity. If we want to understand the teachings of Yeshua (Jesus) and his emissaries with clarity and authenticity, we must hear their words as they were first spoken\u2014in their native tongues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we strip away the Greek veneer and uncover the Semitic heart of the text, we find a message far more rooted in the Torah, the Prophets, and Jewish idiom than traditional theology has allowed.
