As recorded in Gen. 3:15, YHWH Elohim announced to the guilty pair in\n the garden of Eden that of the \u201cseed\u201d of the woman the Savior of \nmankind would appear, by whom \u201cthe Serpent\u201d would be destroyed. After \nthe flood, when the human race was centralized on the plains of Babylon,\n Satan sought to turn men away from G-d\u2019s plan of redemption by \nproducing a counterfeit Messiah. He found a ready tool in an ambitious \nwoman, Semeramis, the widow of Nimrod, \u201cthe mighty hunter before YHWH\u201d \n(Gen. 10:9) who had met with a violent death. Nimrod had been deified as\n being a deliverer from the menace of wild animals. His wife, seeking to\n perpetuate his worship and also to retain power over men herself, \ndeceived them into joyfully believing that through a miraculous \nconception she had given birth to a son called Tammuz, purported to be \nNimrod reincarnated. Here then, 2000 B.C.E. was HaSatan\u2019s counterfeit of\n the promised \u201cSeed\u201d of the woman. This woman with her illegitimate son \nwas thenceforth worshipped as \u201cmother of (a) G-d\u201d (Madonna)\u2013 \u201cthe queen \nof heaven.\u201d Thus originated the ancient Babylonian mystery religion, the\n fountainhead of all idolatry covering the globe. Every idol mentioned \nin the Bible as well as in mythology, having varied names in different \nlands, can be traced to this source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexander Hislop, in his monumental work. THE TWO BABYLONS, has \nclearly shown that the papal worship is none other than the worship of \nNimrod and his wife, disguised in a garb of Christianity. Concerning the\n Christmas festival Hislop writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christmas was originally a pagan festival is beyond all \ndoubt. The time of the year, the ceremonies with which it is celebrated,\n prove its origin. In Egypt, the son of Isis, the Egyptian title for the\n queen of heaven, was born at this very time, about the time of the \nwinter solstice. The very name by which Christmas is popularly known \namong ourselves\u2013 Yule day\u2013 proves at once its pagan and Babylonian \norigin. \u201cYule\u201d is the Chaldee name for \u201cinfant,\u201d or \u201clittle child\u201d; and \nas the 25th of December was called by our pagan Anglo-Saxon ancestors \n\u201cYule-day\u201d or \u201cthe child\u2019s day\u201d, and the night that preceded it, \u201cMother\n night\u201d, long before they came in contact with Christianity, that \nsufficiently proves its real character. Far and wide in the realms of \npaganism was this birthday observed<\/em>

It may be demonstrated that Y\u2019shua was not born in the winter at all,\n but during the Fall Feasts. Since YHWH has not in his Word authorized \nthe celebration of Christmas, then who induced men to begin doing so, \nand how was it being brought about? As early as the first century Paul \nwas condemning those from the Gentiles who were attempting to \nincorporate their old pagan \u201cdays, and months and seasons and years\u201d \ninto their new faith (Gal. 4:8-11). About the year 230 the Gentile \nChristian \u201cChurch Father\u201d Tertullian wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By us [Gentile Christians] who are strangers to (Jewish) \nSabbaths, and new moons, and festivals, once acceptable to G-d, the \nSaturnalia, the feasts of January, the Brumalia, and Matronalia are now \nfrequented, with gifts being carried to and fro.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Tammuz was worshiped as G-d incarnate, that implied also that \nhe was an incarnation of the \u201cL-rd of the heavens,\u201d the sun, and since \nthe sun noticeably began to grow stronger at about the 25th of December,\n this date came to be known not only as the rebirth of Nimrod but of the\n Sun as well. In ancient Rome this day was known as \u201cNatalis Invicti \nSolis\u201d\u2013 the birthday of the unconquered sun. Lights were kindled then to\n burn until the 6th of January (Epiphany). The feast of Saturnalia, \nlasting about a week, was held at this time of the winter solstice, \naccompanied with much merrymaking, wild revelry and debauchery. To \nobtain more adherents to Roman Catholicism it was the policy of the \npapacy to amalgamate the heathen festivals with things of Christendom. \nPope Gregory wrote to Augustine the first missionary to the British \nIsles (C.E. 597):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not destroy the temples of the English G-ds; change them to \nChristian churches. Do not forbid the \u201charmless\u201d customs which have been\n associated with the old religions; consecrate them to Christian use. \nThus Rome retained a pagan form for \u201cXmas\u201d but could not restrain its \npagan spirit\u2013 existing to this day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir James Fraser in \u201cThe Golden Bough\u201d writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus it appears that the Christian Church chose to celebrate the \nbirthday of its founder on the 25th of December in order to transfer the\n devotion of the heathen from the sun to him who was called the Sun of \nRighteousness. If that was so, there can be no intrinsic improbability \nin the conjecture that motives of the same sort may have led the \necclesiastical authorities to assimilate the Easter festival of the \ndeath and resurrection of their L-rd to the festival of the death and \nresurrection of another Asiatic G-d which fell in the same season.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name \u201cChristmas\u201d appeared about 450 C.E. when Pope Julius decreed\n that all Catholics must celebrate the birthday of Christ at the same \ntime that the heathen were celebrating the Saturnalia, etc. It was \ndesignated as \u201cChriste-masse\u201d, or Christ\u2019s mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Few know that the so-called \u201cChristmas tree\u201d had its origin in \nBabylon\u2019s mystery religion, where it was used to represent Tammuz (which\n name means a sprout) HaSatan\u2019s counterfeit of \u201cThe Branch\u201d (Hebrew: \nNETZER; branch; shoot; sprout)\u2013 Messiah, who was also prophetically \ncalled \u201cThe Root out of dry ground\u201d (Is. 11:1; 53:2; Jer. 23:5; Zech. \n6:12\u2013 \u201cBehold the man whose name is The Branch\u201d). Ancient coins have \nbeen found picturing a tree stump (representing dead Nimrod) and a small\n tree growing nearby (Tammuz). The Egyptians used the palm tree; the \nRomans a pine tree. The \u201cXmass tree\u201d of idolatrous Israelites is \ndescribed in Jer. 10:1-4, where the modern tree seems vividly pictured. \nMistletoe and holly figured prominently in the early Anglo-Saxon and \nDruidic tree worship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole hearted believer will not contribute to this perpetuation \nof Christmas by observing it in any way whatsoever; but will withdraw in\n horror from such pagan-born celebrations revered by a world that \ngreeted the infant Messiah with Herod\u2019s sword, reeking with the blood of\n Bethlehem\u2019s baby boys, and which finally crucified Him in diabolical \nhatred. The prophecy of Rev. 11:10 may soon be fulfilled when YHWH\u2019s two\n witnesses shall be slain, then \u201cthey that dwell upon the earth shall \nrejoice over them and make merry and shall send gifts to one another.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHave no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.\u201d<\/em>
\n(Eph. 5:11).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The birth of Jesus is remembered each year but Yeshua is contemptuously set at naught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Torah reminds us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou shall not follow a multitude to do evil\u201d<\/em>
\n(Ex. 23:2)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as Y\u2019shua himself said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat which is highly esteemed among men is abominable in the sight of Elohim\u201d<\/em>
\n(Luke 16:15)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as Paul writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBe you not conformed to this world but be you transformed by the\n renewing of your mind, that you may know what is that good and \nacceptable and wholehearted will of G-d.\u201d<\/em>
