Secrets of the Oath<\/strong>
That Binds the Fallen Angels<\/strong>

We read in the Torah:

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and<\/em> daughters were born unto them,<\/em>
2 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were fair. And they took<\/em> them wives, whomsoever they chose.<\/em>
3 And YHWH said: My Spirit shall not abide in man forever. For that he also is flesh;<\/em> therefore shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.<\/em>
4 The N\u2019filim were on the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of<\/em> Elohim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. The same<\/em> were the mighty men that were of old–the men of renown.<\/em>
5 And YHWH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every<\/em> imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil; continually.<\/em>
6 And it repented YHWH that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His<\/em> heart.<\/em>
7 And YHWH said: I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the earth:<\/em> both man, and beast, and creeping thing, and fowl of the air, for it repents Me that I have<\/em> made them.<\/em>
(Gen. 6:1-7 HRV)<\/em>

The Book of Enoch gives us more detail on this event:

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.  <\/em>
2 And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’  <\/em>
3 And Shemikhazah, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear you will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’<\/em>
4 And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by imprecations<\/strong> not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’<\/em>
5 Then they all swore together and bound themselves by imprecations<\/strong> upon it.<\/em>
6 And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Yared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by imprecations<\/strong> upon it.<\/em>

In today\u2019s blog I want to tell you more about this \u201coath\u201d they \u201cswore\u201d (\u05e0\u05de\u05d0) by which they bound themselves by imprecations (\u05d5\u05d0\u05d7\u05e8\u05de\u05d5)

Later the Book of Enoch elaborates on this oath saying:

13 And this is the number<\/strong> of Kasbeel, the chief of the oath<\/strong>, which he showed to the set-apart ones when he dwelt high above in glory, and its name is Biqa.<\/strong>  <\/em>
14 This (angel) requested Mikha\u2019el to show him the hidden<\/strong> name, that he might enunciate it in the oath<\/strong>, so that those might quake before that name and oath<\/strong><\/em>
15 who revealed all that was in secret<\/strong> to the children of men? And this is the power of this oath,<\/strong> for it is powerful and strong, and he placed this oath Akae<\/strong> in the hand of Mikha\u2019el.<\/em>

Unfortunately this portion of the Book of Enoch has survived only in Ethiopic.  However the underlying Hebrew for \u201cBiqa\u201d is probably \u201c\u05d1\u05d9\u05e7\u05d4\u201d and the underlying Hebrew for \u201cAkae\u201d is probably \u201c\u05d0\u05db\u05e2\u201d. 

The \u201coath\u201d was enunciated with \u201cthe hidden name\u201d which corresponds to a \u201cnumber\u201d and revealed to us in the Book of Enoch only in hidden form with the words \u201cbiqa\u201d (\u05d1\u05d9\u05e7\u05d4) and \u201cakae\u201d (\u05d0\u05db\u05e2).

Enoch goes on to tell us that the power of this oath is the very Power which Created and Upholds the universe itself.  The very laws of nature, the laws of nature\u2019s Creator are the very power of this oath:

16 And these are the secrets of this oath<\/strong> . . .<\/em>
And they are strong through his oath:<\/em>
And the heaven was suspended before the world was created,<\/em>
And for ever.<\/em>
17 And through it the earth was founded upon the water,<\/em>
And from the secret recesses of the mountains come beautiful waters,<\/em>
From the creation of the world and unto eternity.<\/em>
18 And through that oath the sea was created,<\/em>
And as its foundation He set for it the sand against the time of (its) anger,<\/em>
And it dare not pass beyond it from the creation of the world unto eternity.<\/em>
19 And through that oath are the depths made fast,<\/em>
And abide and stir not from their place from eternity to eternity.<\/em>
20 And through that oath the sun and moon complete their course,<\/em>
And deviate not from their ordinance from eternity to eternity.<\/em>
21 And through that oath the stars complete their course,<\/em>
And He calls them by their names,<\/em>
And they answer Him from eternity to eternity.<\/em>
22 [And in like manner the spirits of the water, and of the winds, and of all zephyrs, and (their) paths from all the quarters of the winds.<\/em>
23 And there are preserved the voices of the thunder and the light of the lightnings: and there are preserved the chambers of the hail and the chambers of the hoarfrost, and the chambers of the mist, and the chambers of the rain and the dew.<\/em>
24 And all these believe and give thanks before YHWH Tzva\u2019ot, and glorify (Him) with all their power, and their food is in every act of thanksgiving: they thank and glorify and extol the name of YHWH Tzva\u2019ot<\/strong> for ever and ever.]<\/em>
(1Enoch 69:16-24)<\/em>

Then Enoch reveals to us that the \u201chidden name\u201d, by which the oath was enunciated is also \u201cthe name of that Son of Man.\u201d

25 And this oath is mighty over them<\/em>
And through it [they are preserved and] their paths are preserved,<\/em>
And their course is not destroyed.<\/em>
26 And there was great joy among them,<\/em>
And they blessed and glorified and extolled<\/em>
Because the name of that Son of Man had been revealed unto them<\/strong>.<\/em>
27 And he sat on the throne of his glory,<\/em>
And the sum of judgment was given unto the Son of Man,<\/em>
And he caused the sinners to pass away and be destroyed from off the face of the earth,<\/em>
And those who have led the world astray.<\/em>
28 With chains shall they be bound?<\/em>
And in their assemblage-place of destruction shall they be imprisoned,<\/em>
And all their works vanish from the face of the earth.<\/em>
29 And from henceforth there shall be nothing corruptible;<\/em>
For that Son of Man has appeared,<\/em>
And has seated himself on the throne of his glory,<\/em>
And all evil shall pass away before his face,<\/em>
And the word of that Son of Man shall go forth<\/em>
And be strong before YHWH Tzva\u2019ot.<\/em>
(1Enoch 69:25-29)<\/em>

But let us return to the oath itself.  The \u201coath\u201d was enunciated with \u201cthe hidden name\u201d which corresponds to a \u201cnumber\u201d and revealed to us in the Book of Enoch only in hidden form with the words \u201cbiqa\u201d (\u05d1\u05d9\u05e7\u05d4) and \u201cakae\u201d (\u05d0\u05db\u05e2).  So what is the hidden meaning of these mysterious words?

In Hebrew letters and numbers are the same thing, so a series of letters can express a word but it can also express a number.  When Hebrew words are converted to numbers, or vice versa, this is called \u201cgematria\u201d.

The gematria of \u201cbiqa\u201d (\u05d1\u05d9\u05e7\u05d4) is 117, which is also the gematria for \u201cYHWH Elohim\u201d.

The gematria of \u201cakae\u201d (\u05d0\u05db\u05e2) is 91, which is also the gematria for \u201cAdonai YHWH.\u201d (91 is also the gematria for the Hebrew words for \u201camen,\u201d \u201cangel,\u201d and \u201cmanna.\u201d)

The \u201chidden name\u201d which enunciated the oath was the name of YHWH!  And the Book of Enoch also reveals to us that YHWH is the Name of the Son of Man.  In my recently published blog Why the Rabbis Suppressed the Book of Enoch<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, I demonstrated that the Rabbis suppressed the Book of Enoch because the Deity of Messiah is revealed in it.<\/strong><\/em>

According to the Book of Enoch the fallen angels bound their oath by imprecations, swearing by the Name of YHWH and it is the Name of YHWH which has the power to bind these fallen angels \u201cwith chains\u201d (1Enoch 69:28).

There is power in the Name of YHWH and this is why we read in Luke:

17 And those seventy whom He had sent, returned with great joy and said to Him, Our<\/em> Adon, even the shadim were subject to us by Your Name.<\/em>
18 And He said to them: I saw that HaSatan fell like lightning from heaven.<\/em>
19 Behold, I give to you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and the power of<\/em> the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.<\/em>
(Luke 10:17-19 HRV)<\/em>

And this is why we read in the Tanak:

The name of YHWH is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is set up on high.<\/em>
(Prov. 18:10 HRV)<\/em>

Through You do we push down our adversaries; through Your name do we tread them under that rise up against us.<\/em>
(Ps. 44:6 (44:2) HRV)<\/em>

There is none like unto You, O YHWH; You are great, and Your name is great in might.<\/em>
(Jer. 10:6 HRV)<\/em>

The Name of YHWH is the Name of the Son of Man, the Name of the Messiah, and it is the Name which the Book of Enoch is telling us can bind the fallen angels \u201cwith chains\u201d.
The Book of Enoch has now been restored to us in these last days as Nazarene Judaism is also being restored.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
