{"id":7724,"date":"2024-04-26T17:16:18","date_gmt":"2024-04-26T22:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nazarenespace.com\/blog\/?page_id=7724"},"modified":"2024-05-13T09:57:59","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T14:57:59","slug":"yeshivat-gmira","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/nazarenespace.com\/blog\/yeshivat-gmira\/","title":{"rendered":"Yeshivat Gmira"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/nazarenespace.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/study.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7732\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nazarenespace.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/study.jpg 400w, http:\/\/nazarenespace.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/study-300x236.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 85vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeshivat Gmira has a vital role to play in the restoration of the ancient sect of Nazarene Judaism, the original Jewish believers in Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah if Judaism.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name Gmira (\u05d2\u05de\u05e8\u05d0) comes from an Aramaic word which means &#8220;to perfect, accomplish, mature and complete.&#8221; Paul wrote:  <em>&#8220;And be diligent that you present yourself mature (\u05d2\u05de\u05d9\u05e8\u05d0\u05d9\u05ea) before Elohim, a worker without shame, who is rightly proclaiming the word of truth.&#8221; (2Tim. 2:15).<\/em>  Gmira is also the root for the word Gemara, which, combined with the Mishnah, forms the Talmud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is our desire to build an online Yeshiva that will deliver the same quality as a Rabbinic Yeshiva, while giving our talmidim a broader education, not only in the Ketuvim Netzarim and Nazarene Apologetics, but in important areas like the Dead Sea Scrolls and Philo of Alexandria, which are not typically taught in a Rabbinic Yeshiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Israel there are hundreds of Rabbinic Yeshivot. They are subsidized by the Israeli government, and their students even receive a stipend. Obviously our Yeshiva will have no such subsidy.
