Trimm Family and COVID-19

Shalom Chaverim,

I wanted to update you all about our current situation. As many of you know, my wife has underlying health conditions that put her at greater risk of death should she contract COVID-19 Novel Coronovirus. We have also learned that my recently diagnosed diabetes puts me at a 7% chance of death (my wife’s risk is much higher), should I contract COVID-19 (that figure was given in a press conference from the Dallas Heath Department last night). Several cases of COVID-19 have turned up here in the DFW area and yesterday a “Community transmission” of COVID-19 was identified here. The School Districts in this area are closing the schools and Dallas County has banned gatherings of over 500 people (and recommended against gatherings of over 250 people, and against gatherings of 10 for high risk persons.) My wife and I are taking steps to “hunker down” and be able to essentially barricade ourselves in our home and avoid contact with others as much as possible, for as long as possible. As many of you know, I have been my wife’s caretaker since she came home after a 53 day hospitalization about sixteen months ago. Stocking up on food and essentials has been a financial burden on us, but a necessary one, in light of the spread of COVID-19 in our area, and my wife’s underlying health issues. I realize that many of you may have burdens of your own from COVID-19, however any donations you can make would be especially helpful at this time. Donations can be made by Paypal to donations@wnae.org or to my wife’s medical GoFundMe page linked below:
